The customer service person, Luca, responded to my email within 24 hours with a solution to my problem. The baby monitor that was originally purchased was defective. He gave me instructions on how to validate the lack of electrical power the camera was not getting. I did as he suggested and confirmed the problem was in deed a malfunction of the camera. He offered me an upgraded model baby monitor replacement with no additional cost to me. I accepted the offer and he transferred my email to another department for shipping. I received the new monitor four days later and it works fine! The professionalism shown by the service representatives of HelloBaby is outstanding. I brought this so I could use it on/for my father who is for the most part quadriplegic and can not function by himself. By using this I am able to monitor him thru all of his down time. The system is easy to use and it is wireless when charged, which comes in very handy. The motion of the camera view is surprisingly smooth. Focus has one step of zoom. Volume is adjustable, incoming and outgoing. I have run a separate mic system so my dad doesn't know he is being monitored (pride). The only thing I didn't like about this system was that it times out to fast on the view timing. After about 25-30 seconds of quite the system turns the camera view off. I found that to be quite annoying, because sometimes someone may stop breathing within that time span. I know they probably did it so the battery would not run down, but make it where it will do it when it's plugged in. That's the only gripe I've had with it so far. So if you want one that works well without spending a lot of money, I'd say it's a good deal. GOOD BUY Good Buy ... show more

Camra is functional has decent night vision and spectacular rotation. You can get a clearer picture with a high end model but only if you shell out a few hundred bucks. For the price and even higher models you will not get a better baby monitor. Can not recommend enough. I had three V-tecks before that cost more and worked less even before they broke. I purchased this item and it was so nice and easy to set up in 2 steps. The image is very clear and it takes up very little space. The image gets a bit dark as the sun sets but it may have a feature to enhance the view but I am still learning about it. The corded camera plug in cord could be longer though. This is a super easy to use baby monitor! The nighttime view is pretty good and the microphone does a good job picking up sounds. I also appreciate how you can unplug the viewing monitor and walk around with it. The camera has a decent view range and so far it is doing great for us and our newborn.

Product worked great right out of the box. After a few months, the receiver intermittently dropped connection. It got worse, so I contacted the manufacturer and they shipped out a new unit. Very pleased.

this is even better than the last one we got, which we already loved but gave to a baby sitter. The PTZ function works with out hesitation, and since this doesnt rely on wifi, it just works instantly when you turn it on, no waiting. range is great too, works through several walls.

I liked everything except for the lullabies. You can’t just turn them on for the child monitor. You have to listen to them on the parent monitor too which is Annoying
