I can't give this system more than 1 star for various reasons. super un-reliable...... 1st let me say the idea of how this is SUPPOSE to work is fantastic, if it could only pull that off, let me explain. 1st: Xmarto claims the camera's can use Micro SD cards - False, they do not, they only send a live wifi signal to the NVR base unit either by battery(charged by solar panels) or constant wired 5v USB power. 2nd: the camera's have very narrow view of video, I have 2 year old single wifi camera solar security camera's that have way wider angled views. 3rd: if you can ever get the camera's to set off with a motion detection, the recording starts so late you miss most of the person, car or movement in the camera capture area. 4th: you need to be a NASA Genius to figure this system out as to the instructions, there's little or none and never answer any important questions, the Xmarto web site not any better. "They" claim their videos and limited instructions about a flashing green LED on the Camera's, nope "they" have since changed those colors to orange and not update instructions. 5th: the videos are encrypted so you can't simply remove the SD card and read them on your PC, stupid idea, I can even do that on my wifi security camera edition ones. 6th: wifi signal starts to drop to medium strength just on the other side of my parents house, no way are these going 1300 feet. Now there is some good: you can add a HDD or SSD 2.5 inch drive for continuous recording "IF" you provide 24-7 power to all the camera's outside. The mouse was easy to use. it hooks up super easy to your TV's HDMI. Easy to follow instructions on the NVR box through the HDMI output. The bad: confusing and hard to find settings on the app. Says... it has zoom on the app controls... it does not. Very late notifications up to 10 minutes, even with wifi connections to your cell phone. Still figuring if we want to even keep them, they only work ok, they only capture about half the movements of motion outside, doesn't do any good if it doesn't record someone smashing your windshield or stealing something. Very limited lens angle, more narrow lens than others I have seen and owned, cannot recommend for anyone without some tech knowledge or have lots of patience. ... show more

Purchased for better home security. After initial charging, installing, I was impressed with audio quality, connecting to home TV, and the over all ease, to install app on phone to access cameras at any time! AMAZING picture quality! Recommend this system.

I bought a set of indoor security cameras before, and recently I bought a set of solar energy ones for the exterior of my home. It is very convenient to install but you must charge the camera before installation. I like this camera because the picture quality is high and the playback is simple. The most important thing is that there are no piles of wires next to the host. You can also add an indoor 360-degree rotating camera.     • Right at 2 years camera quit working
All 4 cameras worked great. Set up to view all four sides of my home. They picked humans in my yard. Kinda slow on notification. Would not pick up on wild animals on location. At 20 months one camera stopped working and one month later the second camera quit working. I paid alot of money, I expected them to last longer. ... show more

I wanted surveillance cameras but didn't want to wire it. I found this and thought that a solar camera would be good but still worried that the battery recharge would be a concern as you need ample sunlight. The camera arrived on time, and the build was solid. It is motion-activated and actually does not consume as much power as I thought. My camera battery has been always 100% since I installed it. Now, I can check outside surroundings using my phone and the cameras. It also caught cute moments when my family members were playing outside. Night Vision recording is also clear. It will send me an alert every time some car/person passes by my house. I feel more secure and I can check what's going on later via phone. Overall, I am happy that I can save the wiring issue and just use a solar-powered surveillance system. ... show more

The cameras are ok. The range is 1/2 of what was stated and I have excellent WiFi! The best money can buy ($155 per month) & cameras don’t work well have weak WiFi less than 50 feet away from the box! If that was not enough the cloud storage is horrid! The expense is per camera! The prices are ungodly in my book. For one camera 7 days is $1.99 in the raw. The year per camera is $55.00 for 1 camera and they store for 30 days before deleting. Lol like anyone can afford $550 for a 30 day 10 camera system. I have found a couple of other clouds getting a quote and compatibility report later this week! So disappointing!just went to home storage very inexpensive and not a hassell - now the system is sorry. It takes it a good 10 seconds to even pick up movement if it is over 20 feet away from the camera. Now think if your going from your home to an auto parked in your drive way and it’s only 10 feet away. Someone could have you & be gone prior to camera even waking up and starting to record - lol joke is on me for buying the whole system! ... show more
