    • Cameras work fine, apps and software are useless
I wasted almost $400 on this. The range is okay, across an open clear field the reliable connection range is about 600 feet. There cannot be walls or trees or dense shrubbery in the path. The cameras get a good clear picture at night or day. The Windows software and the phone apps are next to useless. The system communicates alarms via the connections to a phone or to a PC, the unworkable unreliable connections and poor interface makes the system useless. I foolishly let this go past the 30-day return window, so I have no recourse. It will all go in the trash unless they fix their very poor apps and Windows software. A HDMI monitor connected directly to the base unit along with a mouse work perfectly, although alarm detection is very unreliable. But who is going to sit all day and watch a screen? ... show more

Right out of the box it took about an hour to setup including attachment of all cameras solar panels and dvr box to tv. I charged the camera’s overnight like they said in the instructions. And when I turned everything on it worked and worked well. I am very happy and I would recommend this to anyone needing security cameras who don’t have electricity available to power cameras. Easy to setup and install. Works great both for indoor and outdoor. To setup indoor, only need to connect the camera to NVR, then connect the cable to camera and plug in any power outlet. To setup outdoor, connect the camera to NVR, then connect the cable to camera and solar panel, fix the solar panels and cameras on the wall and that’s it. Cordless connection is super convenient for me. Good quality of picture. I took this photo of my monitor in the night as it and the performance of night vision is great too. Instruction is clearly, just follow it to setup on my monitor and app successfully. Overall performance is value for money to me. ... show more

This camera system and NVR work great with little to no false alarms. The humanoid detection is very good. The app for Android works great, the PC version of the App not so much. The PC app will not load all of the cameras at one time maybe 6-7 out of the 9 total, supposed to be able to handle up to 64 cameras (yeah right) and now lately, after just a few weeks, will not load but a few then crashes. Plus the PC app has issues scaling to the screen properly on my 1440p monitor, scales OK in 1080 though but still not quite right. The NVR and cameras work great and notifications are pretty dependable though sometimes really late to come through. The solar panels keep the cameras charged very well. Outside of the PC app I really like and would recommend to anyone looking for a wire free installation but XMARTO really needs to update their PC App. ... show more

Set up and installation went very well but the quality of the video seems lacking. Definition of the video is very low, can't make out a license plate even setting it on "HD". The app used is Wallpixel, works ok, a little clunky. One thing it keeps doing is changing the HD setting back to SD, a little annoying. I think I will be returning system and look for one with better definition. ... show more
