Easy to setup and install. Works great both for indoor and outdoor. To setup indoor, only need to connect the camera to NVR, then connect the cable to camera and plug in any power outlet. To setup outdoor, connect the camera to NVR, then connect the cable to camera and solar panel, fix the solar panels and cameras on the wall and that’s it. This is the 4th system that I have purchased for friends. It is a great product. easy installation and I have never had a problem with the original system that I purchased. However, this time Amazon shipped the wrong item (not even close). Amazon customer service prompty offered to resolve the problem. Kudos to them but I have lost a week on this order. ... show more

It is very convenient to install but you must charge the camera before installation. I like this camera because the picture quality is high and the playback is simple.     • Right at 2 years camera quit working
All 4 cameras worked great. Set up to view all four sides of my home. They picked humans in my yard. Kinda slow on notification. Would not pick up on wild animals on location. At 20 months one camera stopped working and one month later the second camera quit working. I paid alot of money, I expected them to last longer. ... show more

I wanted surveillance cameras but didn't want to wire it. I found this and thought that a solar camera would be good but still worried that the battery recharge would be a concern as you need ample sunlight. The camera arrived on time, and the build was solid. It is motion-activated and actually does not consume as much power as I thought. My camera battery has been always 100% since I installed it. Now, I can check outside surroundings using my phone and the cameras. It also caught cute moments when my family members were playing outside. Night Vision recording is also clear. It will send me an alert every time some car/person passes by my house. I feel more secure and I can check what's going on later via phone. Overall, I am happy that I can save the wiring issue and just use a solar-powered surveillance system. ... show more

    • Cameras work fine, apps and software are useless
I wasted almost $400 on this. The range is okay, across an open clear field the reliable connection range is about 600 feet. There cannot be walls or trees or dense shrubbery in the path. The cameras get a good clear picture at night or day. The Windows software and the phone apps are next to useless. The system communicates alarms via the connections to a phone or to a PC, the unworkable unreliable connections and poor interface makes the system useless. I foolishly let this go past the 30-day return window, so I have no recourse. It will all go in the trash unless they fix their very poor apps and Windows software. A HDMI monitor connected directly to the base unit along with a mouse work perfectly, although alarm detection is very unreliable. But who is going to sit all day and watch a screen? ... show more
