During the evaluation process to find out if my existing surveillance camera system compatible with Zosi’s DVR and cameras, Zosi’s customer service rep. Slina provided excellent service to me during the decision making process in selecting a new surveillance camera system. I had quite a few technical questions and Slina helped answer my questions. After learning more of my needs, Slina helped make a recommendation on the Zosi product. During the installation process, one camera screw was lost which is a rare type that I could not find in the U.S. major hardware stores. I asked Slina if I could buy some extra screws from Zosi. She immediately worked with their operations team and sent several screws to me free of charge. I truly appreciate her valued assistance throughout the process. Using it for a month. Works great. The software could use a little polishing. One example: On the cell phone and computer you need to select HD each time you go to a new camera. I would like to see an option to automatically go to HD. I'm sure the decision is based on bandwidth but let us choose. Night vision works great. I was looking for color night vision but the cost stopped me. For the price, I love this system. Easy to install. Plug and play. You need 3 or more bars on your cell phone to view the video. This system is expandable using Wifi camera. One consideration to keep in mind when expanding is what camera is compatible. I waited until the system was installed. The media could not be loaded. System seems to be OK. The manual is absolute waste of your time. The manual only covers a few of the topics but when you need information on how to add users to the account or anything else, you’re on your own. I tried contacting the company and it takes days for them to even respond. Can not get a phone number. I find it very upsetting that they will not include a manual or online manual for each operation of their software. Nothing!!!!!!! The force you do email them with your question and then after you do that they send you an email back asking for more information on stuff. You have no idea what the hell they’re talking about so you send them another email and a cycle continues. If I could just talk to someone on the phone I’m sure I can get this taken care of in about a minute. So buyer beware PS I never write reviews. Update!!!!! It’s now been several days since I installed the system. It appears that I do not have a 4 TB hard drive like it advertises. Customer service is the worst you’ll get to experience. You can only email them they respond approximately 5 to 12 hours later, I cannot sit in front of my computer and wait for an email back, all they do is tell me to unplug the system and plug it back in and the hard drive should appear which it doesn’t. I spent an entire day installing the system running wires through the attic and now it looks like I might have to remove everything and return it do yourself a favor and buy a system from any other company but these guys they are awful. They don’t understand what customer services is. It’s going to take a weeks at this rate to get the system working or a day to remove everything and return it and do it all over again, which is more valuable than the entire system I purchase. update 1/10/23 Still do not have a working system. Manufacture continues to ask for pictures of the DVR AND SCREEN Showing there’s no hard drive being recognized. All I want is what I paid for a working DVR with a 4 TB hard drive. It takes them approximately 12 to 24 hours to answer you and they answer with this cryptic broken English that doesn’t solve any issues. Just send me a new working DVR for the love of god. It’s not like something you can just send back when you spend an entire day with an employee on the clock. Running wires for 16 cameras through your attic, drilling holes through your ceiling walls, etc. so I’m just supposed to spend another 16 hours remove everything and package it all up and send it back. I have more time in payroll and hard work than it did to buy the system. Update 1/11/23 More emails (14 now) the company want more pictures of the system I bought???? This is totally out of contro!!!!!! I just want a working DVR. Please buy your system from this company. Amazon is not really doing anything to help me out either! They just tell me to return it. But I already ran the wires for all 16 cameras through the attic, drilled holes in walls and ceilings. It took myself and one employee 8 hours to install everything. I just recently installed this system and it is amazing all the features and easy conectivity with a phone allows for ease of mind when traveling i had some problems woth the dvr not recording but the customer service was informative and guided me to a salution to my problem

I got this to replace a low fidelity Lorex unit that was a 4 camera unit at least 15 years old. The 8 cameras are much sharper than than the ones they replaced, but the old cameras could still be used in areas where lower sharpness was acceptable. I currently have 10 cameras attached, and will probably stop there. My only concern is that the unit seems to hang up or reboot every day. I am too busy to troubleshoot it right now, and have not yet contacted tech support, but will once vacations are over. Assuming the unit ultimately runs reliably, I will be happy with it. Certainly, the picture quality is good and the software is OK, when it works. I will amend this review once things are sorted oit. ... show more

This product is very good. Easy to install, comes with the neccessary stuff for the installing of the cameras. Clear camera when looking in my monitor. Good range of cables, I did not have to buy any extra cables to cover the length. The cameras were easy to screw the screws in.
