I really enjoy playing with this camera with my dog. I was able to attach it to his collar and start a recording and let him run around. It's a lot of fun to watch the videos and see what he sees from his point of view running around the dog park or the house. You could also use it around your neck or a helmet if you are out jogging or snowboarding or something like that. I'll probably use it on my next snowboarding trip. The only thing you will need to buy to make it work is a micro SD card. Overall it's a great little camera system and all the accessories make it easily adaptable for many different uses. I'm not sure if this product was damaged to begin with, or returned and resold-But, the camera only downloads half of a picture-like there is not enough memory or something. We've looked online to problem solve, but cannot figure out.

    • It works but you just see paws
So I do like this cat camera because it shows on the back that it’s recording without having to guess and hope for the best, but it records their paws mostly. I have to figure out how to adjust it so it looks up more, but it did show his cute paws and the ground lol. The size is great and the picture quality is good also. It’s easy to put on him and to take off. It can get bouncy at times but I figured that with a moving cat, it would be like that. Just wish there was more of a stabilizer on it. Quality seems great for the price. Now if only I can figure out how to get it to look forward…. ... show more

Whelp i plugged it in to my elitebook to make sure it worked before i wrangled it on my cat. The camera app shows 720p To me it looks like the camera module is 720p and onboard encoder encodes the files to 1080p. Theres actually some logic there. Encoding at a higher resolution will prevent some quality loss with lossy codecs. Is it cinematography at its finest? heck no. But really it does what it says. I finagled the two neckbands they send into one larger one for my 15lb cat. Then i trimed the excess. If the neckband gets snagged it will pop right off if the cats strong enough or say dangling. So really these solution seems pretty safe to me ... show more

In the age of miniature cameras that you can put at the tip of. A pen....they thought to make a let camera that is ment for an elefant ,not a regular cat or small dog ..I ordered, and upon arrival I opened the box just to see this big ,bulky,extremely uncomfortable chunk of camera attached to a even more bulky belt that is suppose to go around your pet neck..who in the world would torture their small cat to wear this bazooka style.camera that rather fits a German shepherd ..I had to return it new,as I can't imagine using it ..they need to come up with a more small version of it ... show more

I will find a use for this camera but not for it's intended purpose. Got it to put on the cat to see what he does when we let him out. Not only is it too big, the orientation of the camera is all wrong. Can't recommend this for use on a cat
