I needed a baby monito for my baby, the main thing that caught my attention to this specific one was the fact it said it didn’t need any wifi. It makes it feel more safe and away from hackers, that’s such a piece of mind. The camera and monitor are great for the price and not needed wifi it’s a super plus. It reaches out to 1000 ft from the camera to the monitor. The picture I took was me outside in my back yard trying to do my workout, so the range is pretty far out. The picture quality is good, it has night vision and I can still see clearly . Another thing I loved about the camera is that it rotates up and down, left and right so I can change the angle from the monito in case my baby moves. It has a zoom feature which is decent. All in all the camera work amazingly so far for me. It has a lot of little important features like sleep mode, the screen turns off but you can still hear baby and if he wakes the screen comes on. It has audio which it is one of the down sides, it is pretty low on its highest volume, but not too bad I guess I just wish it was a little louder on both ends. ... show more

This appears to be one of the lower priced baby monitors and with the current almost half off coupon makes it a great deal. It has room for improvement but for the price I don't think it can be beat. The system is not entirely cordless. The camera needs to be plugged in to a wall outlet. Only the monitor screen is cordless with a built in battery to carry with you or it can be left plugged in if it always stays on the night stand. The camera is fairly light and a little weight would have been nice to help anchor it in place. Video is in color and sufficient to make out facial expressions if not positioned too far away. I could not read flyers and ads stuck to our fridge at 6 feet distance to give an example of video clarity. All video/audio is in real time, there is no saving or storage. The system is entirely independent, It does not work through your home Wi-Fi and there is no app or "cloud based" features. Range is stated to be up to 1000". I have a 1.3 acre yard. I placed the camera in the house and walked the 4 corners of the yard and always had an uninterrupted connection. This put me up to 190 feet away with some obstructions (walls, trees, furniture). Range will be more than enough for most users. The screen is difficult to see in bright sunlight, similar to mobile phones. Audio is lacking. Volume is never enough, even at max. Speech is difficult to understand and requires several repeats to work it out. A baby crying doesn't need to be "understood" so the audio will suffice in this regard but don't expect to carry on a normal conversation through it. ... show more

I really could not be more happy with this baby monitor and Camera set! We have a similar baby monitor for our house but we will be traveling a lot this summer and fall so I felt like this would be the perfect one to bring on the go with us! I am super impressed by the quality of the camera. Everything is super crisp and clear. The night vision is really Immaculate as well and you can see every little thing. You can also hear everything super easy and the motion detection on this works perfectly so you can know if your baby is moving around Etc. This charges up super quick and I'm very impressed by how long the battery actually lasts! It easily lasts through the night at least two times which is even more than our other baby monitor! This really could not be any easier to set up and use either! You simply get the camera all plugged in and set up and you are good to go! If you are thinking about getting this definitely don't hesitate! It is super well made and very nice. It works 100% true to the ad as well. Definitely got to give this a 10 out of 10! This is an amazing value for your money especially when you compare it with other similar monitors ... show more

    • Very well thought out and useful monitor with great features, but one critical thing to know about
Absolutely great little device with wonderful features and a compact attractive design. I ran into one major issue with this thing running in my home. The 2.4GHz FHSS this utilizes shares the same band as many items on my home network and it literally 'stepped on' the signals disconnecting my cameras, smart home gadgets etc. and did not let them back on until i powered this off. Most homes with a modern network have a collection of devices on multiple different bands, with a LOT of them only operating on the 2.4GHz band. To avoid problems you might have to be very aware about only purchasing and using things that can operate on 5GHz or newer. This baby monitor signal was so powerful there's a good chance it can also knockout some neighbors network also. I see other reviewers have gone pretty in-depth about the great features already so will not just fill space saying the same things, and just leave this info to hopefully help some people out who may not be aware of this issue with FHSS. Rather than shy away from great products like these and the privacy they provide let's find ways to understand and mitigate the issue. ... show more

We were searching Amazon for a baby monitor when we came across the "HelloBaby 4.3-inch Video Baby Monitor with 30 Hours Battery." We feel incredibly fortunate to have found this, since it is loaded with features and options that fit our needs perfectly. Our newest grandson is just three months old. When our son and daughter-in-law are visiting, we like to spend time catching up with them, usually in areas of our house that are far enough away from our infant grandson's room so that we don't wake him up when he's sleeping. Our son and daughter-in-law liked Hello Baby camera and monitor so much that they intend to buy one for themselves. I think the price is comparatively economical, given the multifunctional settings and higher-end technology, which we are still exploring. Our house is spread out, and we have experienced no issues in the connectivity range. The automatic night vision mode is especially impressive (see photo).
