When I received the product I started using it with my legs right away. I have a rare autoimmune disease that destroys my nerves and weakens my leg and arm muscles. This machine is perfect for someone like me with balance issues who can’t sit on a regular exercise bike seat. I noticed while trying it on my arms that my tension knob seems to be broken. No matter which way I turn it, the tension doesn’t seem to change. I emailed the seller right away and they responded very quickly offering a full refund because of the broken tension knob. They were very helpful and kind. The machine itself is really light, and still very helpful even with the problem I mentioned. I would recommend it to people who need exercise but have limited mobility like myself. ... show more

The portable exercise pedal bike met my expectations. It was easy to assemble. I would appreciate more instructions on how to use the LED display. It also came with a strap with no indication what it was for.

I purchased this machine to use at work (I sit ALL DAY), and while I like the portability, and light weight of the machine, especially while using it at work, there are however, a couple of things that could be improved to make it better to operate. The first thing that needs to be addressed, is the grips on the bottom of the legs. I tried using this machine on a hard cement type surface, and on carpet, neither of them worked well. The machine kept sliding and moving, and would not keep from sliding from side to side, and also slid forward out of position so that I had to continuously readjust it when I peddled. If the manufacturer can find a way to keep it anchored in place it would improve the experience 75%. The only way I could remedy the problem was to tie a rope around the legs of the machine, then tied it around the chair I was sitting in. This stopped the machine from sliding forward, but there was still a slight issue with it sliding from side to side. The other thing that disappointed me was the fact that the digital counter used the metric system, so instead of reading in standard miles it read in kilometers, so unless you're familiar with the metric system, you'll have to look up the conversion numbers. The machine worked mechanically fine, the peddles moved fine, and the adjustment knob to control the peddle tension offered several levels of pressure. If you want something you can use without trying to figure out ways to make adjustments for your use, keep looking. If you don't mind work arounds, or don't want to spend more than the $45 dollars for this item, this will be fine for you. ... show more

I actually purchased 2 of these so my wife would have one too and I would not have to hunt the one down. I also purchased 2 of these as the proverbial "Scratch and Dent", and while the first one was actually complete (yet sounded terrible as the battery holder on the counter broke loose, which was an easy fix.) and the second one was missing the soft rubber feet and strap (minor as I had spare straps that are long enough). The feet pads for the second peddler I cut from a sheet of 1/4 inch Neoprene, the feet pads in the image are actually from the first peddler, but they kept coming loose, so I glued the foot pads of both peddlers with the "B-7000" adhesive (purchased a while ago for another project.), as you can see in the image. The adhesive and the Neoprene are from Amazon. The first peddler had not been assembled, the second peddler was partially assembled (to be expected when buying a "scratch and Dent"/"Used" item. As for the peddling use, these do work quite well for recovering range of motion and they are quiet even with a bit of peddling resistance (which is adjustable via that knob), so you can watch TV while peddling, and since you are not paying as much attention to the excercise if watching TV, you end up using it for more time than you realize, and you do feel the muscle fatigue after a while too (which you should). Plus you can use it with a comfortable chair too. The strap, which is nominally 6 feet long keeps the peddler from sliding away from you as you use it, just loop it around the 2 front chair legs and loop it around the rear peddler base. ... show more
