  • 3 years in, still going STRONG! EXCELLENT little heat press!
Style: For Apparel
3 years in, and it's still working great! To be honest I didn't expect it to last this long, but it's just as good as the day I bought it so I expect to get 10+ years from this device. The only little "bug" I experience with my unit is the piezoelectric "beeper" might have a bad capacitor or something because once and a while it won't sound a nice, solid, single tone, beeeeeeep. It will start off low pitch and sort of bend up until it reaches the normal tone. It's a little strange sounding, but it doesn't impact the device in any way. This thing gets HOT, I can turn it up to the point that it's too hot to get near the upper platten with bare hands, and the heat is dead even (according to my fluke meter and a thermistor) within a couple degrees F from one corner to the other. ... show more

  • Amazing heat press!
Style: For Apparel
I was skeptical about buying a heat press from amazon but it is well worth the money! The size was exactly as described and has all the features it claims to have. It is extremely durable and easy to use. I’m so glad I chose this one!

  • Great Press
Style: For Apparel
I'm a first time shirt maker for my llama hiking business in the Smoky Mountains. I researched presses on the market and this came up as one of the best yet the ratings on Amazon don't reflect it. I was not sure on purchasing this press because of the reviews that people have posted on Amazon. I figured for a couple hundred bucks it was worth the gamble. I took it out of the box and it had instructions (read where some presses do not). I purchased some transfers and t-shirts already and started pressing the first day. I have pressed over 200 shirts so far and has worked flawlessly. I only had one mistake and that was because I rushed and the press was not hot enough yet when I pressed on a transfer. I was thinking that a swing arm would be helpful because it moved the hot plate out of the way while you put the shirts in their position...I found that I was pretty good at situating the shirt just right without getting burnt. I would purchase another one if I had to. Hope this was helpful to someone. ... show more

  • Perfect for beginners
Style: For Apparel
I have had a recent interest in t-shirt printing, and heat transfer seemed like the best option for me. Of course, with heat transfer printing, you'll be in need of a heat press. So I spent a day or so searching the internet for the best heat printers in the business, as well as being affordable for almost anyone. With that in mind, it was pretty impossible to not hear anything about the PowerPress. I learned that this heat press is among the best in the business through many articles and review videos, so I decided to go for this one and give it a try. I read the reviews for this product, with many people saying the clamshell design (which I really like) applies way too much pressure and that they are unable to lift the top panel up. What I have to say about that is that even if you turn the pressure adjuster knob to the maximum pressure, it's still not that difficult to lift up. Unless you're a total weakling, I promise you that you'll be fine. However, one thing I will say is that this clamshell design can make it a little difficult to lay down shirts onto the silicone surface without burning your hands since an open panel will give you an approximate 45 degree angle opening. Because of that, I recommend you use heat-resistant gloves for the first few days of use. After that, you'll probably adapt to the space you have, and burning your hand will be a rarity. Unfortunately for my stubborn self, I refused to use gloves and pushed through burning my hands about 10 different times the first day. But still, I can do it all in one swift motion just a few days after. All in all, this is an extremely good asset for beginners of t-shirt printing. Go for it! ... show more

  • Awesome customer service!
Style: For Apparel
I bought this heat press based on the reviews and price point. It was the perfect starter machine as I currently only press clothing. It is super easy to use and worked great for me out of the box! However, about 6 months in I noticed the handle wouldn’t lock down anymore. The heating element still worked but I had to physically hold down the handle with my weight instead of it locking like it’s supposed to! I went through Amazon and contacted the seller. They were very responsive and requested a video of my issues. I sent them the video and they determined the handle was not set properly. As this was an unfixable issue they opted to send me out a new press! I received the new press in 3 days, without having to send them back the defective one. (Which would have been expensive haha) The new press has a proper handle and is working great. Customer service is on point and I appreciate all their help!!! ... show more

  • Press that makes $$$
Style: For Apparel
The Power Press is exactly what you need if your just starting out with DTF or pressing shirts in general. You get a machine that is built well, and very sturdy. It heats up to temp quickly, in my case it has taken between 4-6 minutes and the temperature remains consistent for the most part across the platten. For a budget press I can't really knock it in any way and I would recommend it to everyone. If I could change one thing I would want it to be a 16"x20" instead of a 15"x15" and then it would be the ultimate budget press that gets more bang for your buck than much higher priced presses. ... show more
