BABONIR Hair Dryer Fast Drying, 1800W Ionic Blow Dryer with Cool Button. I have reviewed a lot of hair dryers over the last year and this is by far my least favorite. It is cheaper than many of the dryers that I have used, so maybe I am just spoiled with more expensive dryers. The dryer has a very cheap feel to it and the on/off switch is very difficult to move. It actually hurts my thumb to try to turn the dryer on and off or to change the setting. The airflow is ok, nothing great, but for the price point is fine. I am deducting 2 stars for not being able to easily operate the power/settings switch making this useless for me. I feel 3 stars is fair as it does dry hair as advertised. This hair dryer has some really nice simple features - It's relatively small and light weight - It has a modern design, looks nice in a bathroom, and is well made -It comes with a diffuser and a directional attachment to either spread the air flow - great for curly hair to avoid frizz - and to focus the airflow on roots to help them dry faster, for example - it allows for heat or just air without the heat -It comes nicely boxed so it is gift ready -It has a high and low option for air flow -It does seem to reduce static -If you trip your electrical circuits drying your hair - this comes with an integrated circuit breaker so it trips at the plug not at your circuit breaker - this is an awesome feature if your circuits are difficult to reset. The things that could be better -The cord is not a 360 degree swivel so it's a little harder to manage - but not a deal breaker -The temperature cannot be adjusted - only the level of airflow is high or low -This is not foldable -It does not come with a hair dryer bag and this would have been a really nice feature -The electrical chord plug needs quite a bit of space to plug in - although the reason for that is it comes with a circuit breaker to avoid tripping your circuits Overall a well made hair dryer and a must if you have sensitive electrical issues. ... show more

This hair dryer is very small and lightweight which make it good for travel. However, I'm not sure it's better than the travel kind where the cord retracts for saving space. The low setting is fairly low and, when my hair is fully wet, would take an eternity to dry. It is effective at the high setting. Oddly, you have to press the cool air button in for it to become warm so it feels like it was wired backwards. On low it doesn't get too hot, but on high it gets fairly hot. I have fine, long hair and it doesn't blow too fast to where I get tangles so that's a relief. I think the ion feature is helpful because I've had less static in my hair. ... show more

I have long, thick hair, and I live in a tropical climate, so I'm not very likely to blow dry my hair. For the times I do want to, I was looking for a small but effective dryer, and this one fits that bill. It's easy to hold, has the most basic functions, and works well to dry my hair fast. It's small and light enough to easily store or pack in my luggage on a trip. I don't notice much improvement in frizz or static, but it didn't make things any worse than they are with my hair.
