With so many choices on Amazon it’s really hard to figure out which hairdryer to buy, and is it worth the $$ to spend more or not? arghh I spend hours on amazon and still can’t decide I’ve been eyeing this one for awhile and decided to pick it this time. I am a level 9 dyed blond with long hair that I prefer to wear straightened or blow dried straight (IF it’s willing..) or I’ll settle for a blow dry to a natural looking, sorta slightly wavy style. I don’t want to style after drying. I have been coloring my hair since I was 16 and I am in my early 50s, so having a good hair dryer is an important part of my routine. (notes below if interested) Otherwise my hair looks terrible if the dryer is bad, which is why I never rely on what is in a hotel room! I bring my own. This is a full size dryer but the nozzle comes on and off easily so I find space for it in lieu of more shoes in my bag. The nozzle sleeve fitting is long and slides onto the dryer, so once it is on, it won’t come off because the airflow director doesn’t “snap” on like most versions do. So no accidentally knocking it off while styling! Bonus! And this dryer comes with 2 of them!! Another bonus! One is a littler longer than the other and they work identically for blowouts. No diffuser for curls is included - which is great- I don’t need one so I am not paying for it … or knocking it around in my bathroom drawer. I have tried every hairdryer on the market from the $20 Conair to the $35 Revlon to the $200+ Elchim and BaByliss brands. I have tried tourmaline, ion and every gimmick out there. I do notice a difference between dryers. this version has a blue light and claims to be good for your scalp. As you can see in the photo, there is a blue light that comes on so as you’re drying your hair, it is shining on your follicles. I don’t know if it’s doing anything, I like to think it is. Some reviewers mention this dryer does not get hot enough. I would agree that it isn’t as searing as other dryers. However, if I have the door closed in the bathroom, it gets very hot in there, so I don’t think lack of heat is an issue. I think that my hair looks so nice after using this dryer specifically because it doesn’t get too hot. The power does make my hair dry faster at a lower temperature, so I think that’s why it comes out smooth and shiny. I use a very large round, blowout brush, and don’t need to straighten or style afterward. It was strange getting used to the buttons because they are opposite of what I am used to in terms of the on off position. But they don’t get in the way of me using the unit to dry my hair. I mean, I don’t accidentally turn it off like I have with other models or some of my curling irons. This dryer is definitely worth the price and outperforms many of the other models that i’ve used in the past. I recommend it. Give it a try and if you disagree just return it! My routine: I dye my grays with Wella color charm NG level nine. I only use Bondi boost HG or Pureology shampoo and conditioner. After towel drying I pump 10-15 squirts of bondi boosts rapid repair serum into my hair, comb it through then I use 2 pumps of one of their oils and comb it through. I concentrate on the ends. I use no silicone products. This alone makes my hair smooth and shiny with this dryer- no flat iron required! ... show more

What do you say about a hairdryer? I like it. I really do. It has high low and medium heat. It has the cold button. In my opinion, the high heat could be a little hotter, but still works. Good well-made seems to be very sturdy. I can recommend this hairdryer.

    • High velocity air flow. Easy to use.
We’ve had the hairdryer a couple weeks and it’s worked extremely well. It produces high wind velocity, which I like, and has multiple settings for heat and speed. It doesn’t weigh much, so is easy to handle. We don’t use the attachments. Buy it. You’ll be happy.

It is lighter than my older professional dryer, but on low speed it takes awhile to get hot even though it's on the hottest setting. The cord is shorter than normal, so that's a problem if you use it in the salon, at home it's ok if sitting down. I haven't traveled with it so I can't rate that, but sure it's fine for travel since it's lighter. ... show more
