I tossed and turned for a couple of years on whether I wanted to spend over $400 on a blow dryer. I finally gave in and I'm really glad I did. I've been using this dryer for about 2 months. First, don't think of this as "just" a hair dryer. You're actually not paying for a blow dryer - you are paying for a brushless motor (if you don't know what that is, ask a car guy about brushless motors). The motor on this dryer is high-powered, quiet, and not overly hot so you don't fry your hair. I'm in my late 40s, so my hair isn't overly thick, and I wear it shoulder-length. I can honestly say my hair dries in 3 to 4 minutes, tops. The dryer never gets overly hot so I don't have to worry about damaging my hair. There is so much air pushed that my hair dries so quickly. All in all, this is a beautiful tool, and I love it. I'm glad I spent the money. It should be the last dryer I ever need. I've played with the attachments, and I'm still learning those, but even without an attachment - this is a great dryer. ... show more

It was hard to spend such a large amount of money on a hairdryer, but wow is it worth it! It's significantly quieter, cooler and lighter than my previous premium dryer, a Sam Villa. I have fine, thin blond hair that is naturally curly and it dries my hair in about 5 minutes. I don't even have to use a flatiron anymore, I just use the blade attachment for a minute at the end with my brush to get any final wave out, then that amazing weirdly-shaped flyaway attachment thing to smooth it down. Tip, watch the tutorials on Dyson's site, they are easy to follow and gave me guidance on the right settings to use for my hair. Was sooo disappointed when we received this product. I saw the Dyson hair dryer on the Late Show with Steven Colbert which was presented by none other than Mr. Dyson, himself. This was to be a 52nd anniversary present for my wife. It is very expensive. Upon plugging in the hair dryer, my wife pushed the on button and to our surprise, poof, a cloud of smoke immediately appeared and smelled like burnt electrical wiring. That was the end of its life. I cannot believe that this unit had past a quality inspection. Needless to say I am awaiting a refund. ... show more

Love love love this hair dryer! I am hard I suppose on hair dryers I use one everyday and get about a year or so out of one. With this being said the test will be will it last longer than others?? I sure hope bc it does such a great job! My hair feels so healthy and smooth. I have 2 Dyson sweepers and they are wonderful as well. Hope their hairdryers don’t disappoint as well. ... show more

Overall is a nice hairdryer but a pricey one. Wonderful product, my wife loved it 🥰 special because is gold rose/pink 🩷 and cut in a half the dry time for her hair.
