This blew my wife away! Her very thick hair normally takes 45 minutes to dry with her old bulky revlon hair dryer. This one only took 11 minutes! For a normal person it would be even faster. It gets hot and blows a lot of air, but does not get so hot that it would easily damage hair. Not too loud for a hair dryer. I like this blow dryer most of all because it's much quieter than other hair blow dryers. On average, blow dryers are loud and can hurt your ears when you're using it on your head/near your. ears. My wife has some hearing challenges, so having a blow dryer that isn't too loud was a must for her. What we really like is that there's a magnetic attachment you can put where the air output is, that directs the airflow in a flat airstream. This negative ion blow dryer by HZD is powerful and compact making it great for travel. I wish the cord was a bit longer while in use, but it's less to have to wrangle up when storing. There is a paw print at the handle of the dryer which is odd like this is being marketed for dogs, so that is a bit odd and out of place. Dryer works fast to dry my medium length hair with or without the nozzle that attaches on magnetically. For the price point though, this really should have had extra nozzles like a diffuser. ... show more

Wow, this has to be the most powerful blow dryer I’ve ever used before. It’s super cool the way it works, it’s not like your usual blow dryer where the air get sucked in from the back of the head. Even the medium setting of the blow dryer is pretty strong. I do have a short hair, so it’s a bit powerful for me although I’m still able to use it. This blow dryer would be great for somebody with long hair that’s for sure. The blow dryer has three different temperature settings, cool, medium, hot, and each heat setting is accompanied by a different color - blue, orange, and red. It has two different power settings, medium and strong, and it’s easy to turn on and off. The only downside I found of this blow dryer is it leaves my hair pretty frizzy. I don’t recall ever having a blow dryer that’s left my hair this frizzy and flat feeling before. It must be the type of blow dryer that it is, but it’s not a big deal for me since I tend to wear ponytails, and a hat. Overall, I really like this blow dryer, I would knock it down half a star just because of how frizzy it makes my hair, but otherwise, it’s really nice and a great quality blow dryer. ... show more

    • This Thing Blows!
I've wanted one of these for a good while but didn't want to pay the crazy price for the name brand. I figured I'd take a chance on this one. It's my new favorite item. It blows. It blows so much! There are two speeds and three heat settings (cool, warm, and hot). There is a noticeable difference between warm and hot, but the hot setting isn't going to burn. My previous hair dryer would almost burn my fingers if I ran them through my hair during drying. It was too much. The two speeds are also great, but the lower speed is still high speed. I have really thick hair that takes a while to blow dry. My hair is also a little wavy (not nice and straight and not the pretty curls other ladies have), so drying it is almost a must to get it to calm the heck down. In the summers (I'm in hot, humid FL) I dread drying my hair, because it takes so long and heats up the bathroom so much (I usually only wash my hair every other day in the summers just to avoid the dryer...it's a thing). This dryer, though. Oh my gosh. Drying is so much faster that the bathroom isn't a sauna afterward. My arm isn't tired from holding a heavy dryer. My husband even likes it, because it's so much quieter than the other dryers. I had no idea I've love this thing so much, but here we are. The cord is long enough while in use, and easy to store. It's not too bulky and it works well. This is a decent hair drier, it's not too bulky, and does dry my hair pretty quickly. It doesn't have many bells and whistles, just cool, warm and hot, and 2 speeds. I wish it came with a diffuser, but it does work well as advertised. I was surprised by the paw print on the unit, it's a little random as it's marketed as a hair dryer for humans, but doesn't affect how well the blow dryer works. ... show more

Power wise, this is a great little hair dryer. I like it's heat and strength, and the way it pulls the air from the handle is pretty cool. The buttons and on/off switch, however, need work. The on/off switch is smaller and stiff, making it a bit of a struggle to use. Flicking it on with my thumb while holding it just is the opposite of easy. What is easy, however, is bumping the temp button while using it. To many times I would notice the heat drop and see it was because my hand bumped the button while moving to a different position. If the temp button was stiffer and on/off button easier, this could be a great dryer. As of now, I find myself still using my old one... ... show more
