Very easy to use. All I had to do was take it out of the box and plug it in! Please use caution with the gloves it comes with though. The protective beads melt when you pick up hot items. I was not happy with this product at all. I was so excited to get started in making cups and tumblers. I had all of the materials, which were costly and was just waiting for this to arrive. When it did, I set it up and just knew I was going to be a product producer in no time. WRONG! This machine never powered on. I watched the help videos, read the manual, etc and it would not turn on. The media could not be loaded. I was hesitant on this purchase after reading some of the mixed reviews here, but I’m glad I purchased it! It heats up very quickly and the screen is very easy to read. The presets work well and the hinge is easy to operate. It was very easy to learn how to use and to set up. Don’t let the lower price tag convince you that the product is cheap; it’s a great starter press! The Cons: - Press came with a little stain inside of it (see photo), but not a big issue because I use non-coated butcher paper around each cup when pressing - The fishy smell that is mentioned in some reviews is accurate, but not a strong odor that lingers- I just open a window - The knobs at the top of each post are not even, so this can make pressing a little challenging. Once you get used to it, it’s not awful - Doesn’t quite close all the way, so you have to turn tumblers and goblets to press the other side The Pros: - Sublimation tumblers look beautiful - You can choose to only press the top rim of a cup or tumbler or just the bottom - Compact size, great for small craft spaces - Heats evenly all the way around - Small enough to work with 18oz and 20oz skinny tumblers, big enough to work with jumbo coffee mugs Overall, this is a great beginner press for anyone getting into sublimation. I’m very happy with this purchase and I’ve done about 30 tumblers and 20 mugs since purchasing. I don’t notice any change or discrepancies in the heating elements! ... show more

This machine works great. Heats evenly, does a great job for what I paid for it. The accessories are meh. Gloves are garbage. First time I used them the pink melted all over the cup and had to throw them away. Get good gloves so you don’t get burnt.
