  • Good Stove right price
I install stoves for a living. I purchased this one and another on the fly to get some quick heat in my greenhouses on cold nights. This is a good little camp stove. Sturdy well built. Serves its purpose. There’s no other stoves in this price range which is why I gave it 5 stars. It’s the best you could get for this price. The only thing to be aware of is that the fitting on the pipe is reversed from the usual order I’ve seen and it is starting with male on the bottom connecting to the stove. It will eventually leak creosote after a couple days on the outside of the pipe. I got an adapter and flipped the pipe over so it would be starting with the female fitting at the bottom and fixed the issue so any buildup will run down the inside of the pipe. I purchased another and did the same thing because I enjoyed the look and durability. The reversed pipe fitting was a small issue compared to the price. It’s a good deal even after purchasing an adapter. ... show more

  • Not very sturdy
I lit this outside for a first burn to get that smell out. The put the flew pipes up and as the stove got hot the flew pipes started to lean heavily to one side and threatened to tip. So thankfully I didn't have this in my tent. What I might do, is find a couple adapters I can attach to make the chimney smaller in diameter to reduce weight. ... show more

  • Worst Product I have ever Purchased
First, the legs broke while assembling. The minimal tack welds detached with zero effort, I had them welded at a local shop. Second- out of the box, the front vent was bent and had paint loss. Third- during the first fire the woven gasket on the door fell off. Fourth- the handle is super janky. Fifth- the stove pipe damper is faulty, springs and wing nuts are worthless. Sixth and worst of all- This stove has a terrible draft and if you do not have an extremely hot burning fire in it, if you open the door to stoke the fire, it will fill your tent with smoke. Its so bad I ended up getting carbon monoxide poising and ended up in the ER. This stove ruined my late season archery hunt and I returned the stove as soon as I got home. This stove was truly the worst product I have ever purchased. FYI, I followed the instructions and burned a hot fire on my back patio for 4-5 hours before I took it on my hunt to make sure there was no paint burn off while in the tent, this wasnt enough, we aired out the tent multiple times because we could see and smell paint fumes. I hope nobody dies because of this piece of crap. ... show more

  • OK for what it is
Well it’s outside burning off the oils and setting the paint like the instructions say to do. It stinks right now. The door seals fell off already but I think the door fits better now. The stove pipes are heavy and do deform the top a little as mentioned in another review. But I won’t be using them all since I’m venting this into a class A chimney in my wood shop. I considered a 30 gallon barrel stove but this is as little cheaper and quicker. It’s about the same size and weight. I would not put this a living space. I will use it to take the load off my electric heat that will be going up 3x soon. I will never try bank it up to keep it going all night While writing this the tag from the Environmental Protection Agency just fell off the back. 🤭 Update 11/16: This is going in my woodworking shop so at first I didn’t think the warped cast door and the seals falling off would bother me, but it did. The door was warped in both directions so I used some 3M fire barrier caulk and leveled it out corner to corner then stuck the seal strips back on before it set. Seems to be solid and seals up now. The caulk is supposed to be good up to 2000 degrees? I’ll try to keep the flue temp between 400 and 600, optimal for preventing creosote build up. If it ever gets to 2000 I’m already in trouble. ... show more

  • Best thing since French toast!
I bought this heater to replace all of my electric heaters that were running up my power bill. I know it isn't for indoor use, but that is what we did with it. It has been amazing! It was really simple to put together and is bigger than I was actually expecting. It came with a few nifty little extras that have come handy as well. I love this thing. It keeps my whole house warm. I sometimes have to open the front door of my home and let some heat out because it heats a bit too well sometimes...which is honestly a great problem to have lol. I couldn't be happier with how this is made. Its reasonably priced, not overly heavy, and works very well. Pro tip: there are grooves inside the pipe that lock them together...find them before burning this thing out because if you don't the pipes will lean and wobble. ... show more

  • Poor gasket
The gasket on the door is meant for windows in wood stove doors, not the door itself.
