This mat does great to help protect the woods deck from the oil and food splatter from the griddle when cooking. It is made out a good product and survived strong winds and severe weather. It is not a plastic mat like the old had was, but this material feels similar to a mat and works just as well. The media could not be loaded. I really love the fact that it’s made out of woven fiberglass and it’s silicone coated on both sides. The footprint is roughly 4 x 5‘. The mat is square it has piping all the edges and the sewing is very well done.

This Grill Pit Mat is the right size. But it is so thin that I was unable to use it on my deck, because the wheels on my grill cause the mat to be pushed into the spaces between the deck boards. Then the grill becomes difficult to move. I decided to return the mat, and I took it to my local UPS Store the day after I received it. But 10 days later I still had not received my refund. I tried to contact customer service via the 'chat' interface, but that didn't work. I was finally able to find a way to contact a real customer support person, who finally issued my refund. But the process took a long time, and my refund should have been issued DAYS earlier! Caveat Emptor!! ... show more
