As I read reviews form 1 star to 5, they are very mixed. I did not experience any damage to the cover and it was in perfect shape when I took it out of the box. It is thin and lightweight but that is what I wanted. I also got it at a mistake price on Amazon and only paid $36 but it is not worth $99. I do see as of today, they have a 50% off clickable coupon so I would say for $50, it may be worth it. The hangers do what they are intended and I have a rear grease cup on my 28 Blackstone. When open, it hangs over the grease cup and does fit as expected but if the hangers were closer to the side with the handle, it would hang a bit better and not be so much over the back part of where you would cook. I’m debating relocating the hangers. It also doubles as a wind blocker so if you were to buy those separately, you could be looking at another $35 spend to get the back and both sides blocked so faster some of that cost into the covers overall cost. The cover fits my Blackstone griddle. It looks like it will be mostly fine, but installing it was a big problem and the hooks don't work. It came with a blue plastic film adhered to both sides of the metal (as most sheet metal products do), and all such film needs to be removed before use. The film was not quite strong enough to just peel it off. It kept tearing; it probably came off in 30 to 40 pieces, some of which were so small they blew away in the wind. But the real issue is that I had to take it apart to remove the film. There were 6 bolts with locknuts that I had to remove so that I could get the film out from underneath the handle and hooks. Naturally I did this outside next to the griddle, on my wood deck, and naturally I dropped one of the 6 locknuts as I was removing it, and it fell through the cracks between the wooden planks of the deck. I crawled under the deck with a flashlight and found it. The nearest store that sells metric locknuts is a 75 minute round trip, so I figured that if I could find it in less than 75 minutes, I'd come out ahead. I got all the blue plastic film off and got it reassembled. It won't hang on the back of my griddle because of the rear grease trap, so I can't use the hangs-on-the-back feature. But it's light enough that I can lean it against the deck railing. ... show more

Flybold 36" griddle cover is the perfect solution to keeping rain/dirt/leaves off your griddle when you're not using it. After three different "tarp-like" griddle covers failing to do the job or last through one winter, THIS diamond-plate beauty is the one for life. It fits on the griddle snug enough to keep out rain so no rusty griddle top! The cover has sturdy hooks to hang the cover while using the griddle, which, sadly, I cannot use with my grease catcher cup attached at the back of the griddle. So, grease cups on the side shouldn't interfere with hanging the cover. I'm fine with it, in fact I put the cover over two barstools and used as a "table" to have my seasonings, tools and beer close at hand. You need this! Don't get me wrong, it fits like a glove and is well made (really well). Because the griddle is steel and the cover is aluminum, I want to avoid bi-metal reaction. Bought for my new Sam's Club 36" griddle and it fits perfect. Aluminum diamond plate with handle in the front (not on top) looks great. It will fit a little bigger than the grill size, however when propped up in place it fits the opening on the back side of the grill. I wish it was a little heavier Guage metal but not a deal breaker.
