I really wanted to love this hose, but the threading on the male end prevented use without leakage when nozzle was connected. Even the nozzle that came with the hose leaked. I finally realized that the threading in the female end of the nozzle was longer than the threading on the male end of the hose. I had to use a second washer in the nozzle and problem solved. This hose itself is fine for the price, but the swivel grip’s are not great. They will work if you’re hooking the hose up to your spigot and leaving it, and you’re not going to need to unscrew it all the time. I’m used to the Flexzilla grips which are very easy to use. In my opinion, there is no such thing as a perfect garden hose--by their nature, they're somewhat clumsy. However, this appears durable, is not prone to kinking and seems to be well-made. The fittings are aluminum rather than brass and the accompanying nozzle has a plastic connector instead of a brass connector. The price is a good value. ... show more

Been using if for a couple weeks now. It’s replacing my old retractable hose that lasted two years. Hopefully this one will last longer. The hose is nice, the nozzle is nice for cleaning the car. The only thing I don’t like is screwing it on or off the water spout. It doesn’t have a nice twist connection. You basically have to spin the whole hose. It gets annoying when I’m moving from the back garden to the front. Overall a good buy. ... show more
