I hesitated after reading some of the reviews, but I'm quite happy with my purchase! The plastic is kind of thin, especially on the water container, but not as bad as some people said. When properly seated the water flows well without overflowing. I can't imagine any dry food sticking with the extra wide opening. I have one large cat. For anyone with one or more rambunctious dog(s) the plastic may be an issue. I set them about 6" apart to reduce particle transfer from food to water. After a few days, water is still clear. It's time to change anyway since water gets warm and can develop a stale taste. The style is sleek and modern: big improvement over the jug types. If I have any issues in the future, I will update review. For now they have earned their five stars! ... show more

Water jug is perfect and works as expected. I feel like this is the case for many of the gravity food feeders is the food does not flow out well. My cat's food is not very big, pretty small pieces as she is smaller but many times the food gets stuck and I have to poke it a bit with my finger to get the food to flow out. If my cat was smarter and knew she could swat at it to make it work I wouldn't have to do that but she isn't the brightest at times LOL (I love her no matter what). I have had this same issue with the last feeder I had as well so I don't think it is fully the fault of these. Still like the quality. For some reason I got an extra lid in my box I don't need... just threw that away - just a random thing I wanted to mention. ... show more

I absolutely Love this food/water feeder. It is so easy to fill and keep clean. I have bought other feeders and while they work ok, they are a pain to wash. The dish portion on them, gets water inside and it takes forever to dry. This feeders dish portion does not get water trapped inside and its easy to wash and dry. I wanted to love this set. I like the minimalist aesthetic - it looks great, and my cat was happy to eat from it. The problem is it wouldn’t let his food drop as he ate. The food morsels, although very small, would get stuck above the point where the food is supposed to slide down as he eats.
