Description

Gorilla Super Glue Gel is an easy-to-use, thicker and more controlled formula great for multiple surfaces and vertical applications. Developed for long- lasting repairs in an instant, the clear glue dries in 10-45 seconds. This super glue gel is specially formulated to absorb drops and impacts. Super glue, also referred to as cyanoacrylate glue, or CA glue, works on a variety of materials, including plastic, metal, stone, ceramic, paper, rubber and more. In addition to its high-performance formula, we've added an anti-clog cap with a metal pin inside to ensure an airtight seal for maximum reusability. It's Gorilla tough, every time. Versus liquid Gorilla Super Glue Not recommended for use on polyethylene or polypropylene plastic or similar materials. Directions: 1) Protect Work Area From Spills 2) Clean and Dry Surfaces to Be Bonded 3) Prepare Gorilla Super Glue Gel: With cap on bottle, shake product, then turn product upside down and tap on hard surface to shake gel into bottle nozzle. 4) Apply Gorilla Super Glue Gel: Remove cap and apply a small amount of Gorilla Super Glue Gel to one surface. Only one dab per square inch recommended. Set time can vary based on the amount of glue and type of surface glued. Excess glue can cause delayed or failed bond. 5) Secure: Press the two surfaces together for about 10-45 seconds. Note that gaps and uneven surfaces may cause delayed bonding. Wait 24 hours for a full cure. Bottles are labeled by weight, not by volume, and each bottle contains the labeled weight. For high performance and reusability, the glue needs to be protected from moisture. Our bottle, which has the required thickness to keep moisture out, contains the grams of glue as labeled and is flexible enough to allow the glue to flow, making the product easy to use.

This glue is great. Dries clear and not runny at all if you gently shake like instructed. Sets very fast. I love the larger size compared to what you find in stores for the same glue. And the 2-pack is a big cost savings. I use this glue alot for my crafts and it doesn't disappoint. If I get it on my fingers, all I do is use an emery board across the dried glue and PRESTO, it's off. We bought this Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL for a few small jobs around the house and so far so good. It IS a solid hold, but also requires one use care when applying. It is VERY sticky instantly and can cause issues if you do not prepare the job before using and if not properly applying the Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL to whatever you're working on. One example of our use so far: we have a suitcase we always use, but the decorative silver strip on the pull out handle was popping out. Before it broke off and caused either an injury to the hand or weakened the handle we applied the Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL to reattach it permanently. And by Permanently I mean it! This glue should hold that silver strip in place long after the rest of the suitcase is destroyed! This stuff feels tough! You can see there was some slight spill over when we push it down and held it - this was mostly cleaned off after drying. But we also had to hold it in place for the first minute or so - which the glue dries FAST the piece is set on an uneven spot with divides and we had to fill those in - so holding it in place we used a plastic bag to keep it from our hangs, pulling up a few times making sure it was not sticking to the plastic. But having used this Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL we knew to have everything set before applying the glue, apply, then hold, and be careful. In the end, it worked out find and as mentioned - it is solid, tough, and will last. We like the Gorilla Glue product brand and will use it again. ... show more

This is far from my first bottle. I've used this in my model building for years. IMHO many don't know how to make the most of these type of adhesives? I'm not going to preach here,but for starters, don't think that more is better or stronger???? Great brand, consistent quality..specific uses. This product is 2nd to none. First I thought it would work for just 1 item, but it ended up working for anything that broke even months later! My $300 vacuum was saved by this glue when a piece of plastic broke! Very happy with it. The only downside is if the glue gets on your hands you’ll have sticky residue for 24 hours, but that’s just you being clumsy and with enough picking away at it it will go away 😅 No smell, and 30 minutes to set is great. ... show more

I had one job in mind for this when I purchased it and the way it was so easy to use and began to dry almost immediately, really has impressed me. It has been 48 hours since using it for fix I had in mind and the adhesion is solid as a rock. I have used all my strength to see if I could break the bond and could not. Update # 2: The weather has gotten cooler and the glue is now back to being a proper gel consistency. It's working great now and I'm able to use it often. I haven't had any further clogging issues, either. Not sure what was going on at first, but the cap seems to seal it well enough now. Update: I managed to make a hole through the dried glue and it is working again. However, it is not really a gel. It's very liquidy. More like a regular super glue. I was only able to use this once, sadly. It worked very well to repair a bowl that had broken. Held it in place almost instantly and haven't had any issues with stability. (to be clear, I am no longer using this bowl for eating - it now holds random household goods) Unfortunately, after the first use, I went to try to use it again a few days later and it had dried out. There is still some liquid at the bottom, but there is a hard layer preventing it from getting out. I could theoretically puncture a hold and get some more out, but that seems like a step I should not have to take after such a short period of time. The product itself is great. We have a ceramic reindeer that was made by a dear family member. While putting up Christmas decorations, we inadvertently broke one of the antlers. Since our family member can no longer do work like this, we were anxious to repair it. We got this gel glue for that purpose. The glue dispenser worked very well (after taking the tip off, of course). The glue is a gel and comes out in nice, small drops if you make the hole in the tip of the dispenser small. We put one drop on the broken antler, held the pieces together for about 5 minutes, and it was set. The reindeer is white ceramic, and once it was set we couldn't see that it had ever been broken.
