Description

Gorilla Super Glue Gel is an easy-to-use, thicker and more controlled formula great for multiple surfaces and vertical applications. Developed for long- lasting repairs in an instant, the clear glue dries in 10-45 seconds. This super glue gel is specially formulated to absorb drops and impacts. Super glue, also referred to as cyanoacrylate glue, or CA glue, works on a variety of materials, including plastic, metal, stone, ceramic, paper, rubber and more. In addition to its high-performance formula, we've added an anti-clog cap with a metal pin inside to ensure an airtight seal for maximum reusability. It's Gorilla tough, every time. Versus liquid Gorilla Super Glue Not recommended for use on polyethylene or polypropylene plastic or similar materials. Directions: 1) Protect Work Area From Spills 2) Clean and Dry Surfaces to Be Bonded 3) Prepare Gorilla Super Glue Gel: With cap on bottle, shake product, then turn product upside down and tap on hard surface to shake gel into bottle nozzle. 4) Apply Gorilla Super Glue Gel: Remove cap and apply a small amount of Gorilla Super Glue Gel to one surface. Only one dab per square inch recommended. Set time can vary based on the amount of glue and type of surface glued. Excess glue can cause delayed or failed bond. 5) Secure: Press the two surfaces together for about 10-45 seconds. Note that gaps and uneven surfaces may cause delayed bonding. Wait 24 hours for a full cure. Bottles are labeled by weight, not by volume, and each bottle contains the labeled weight. For high performance and reusability, the glue needs to be protected from moisture. Our bottle, which has the required thickness to keep moisture out, contains the grams of glue as labeled and is flexible enough to allow the glue to flow, making the product easy to use.

Update # 2: The weather has gotten cooler and the glue is now back to being a proper gel consistency. It's working great now and I'm able to use it often. I haven't had any further clogging issues, either. Not sure what was going on at first, but the cap seems to seal it well enough now. Update: I managed to make a hole through the dried glue and it is working again. However, it is not really a gel. It's very liquidy. More like a regular super glue. I was only able to use this once, sadly. It worked very well to repair a bowl that had broken. Held it in place almost instantly and haven't had any issues with stability. (to be clear, I am no longer using this bowl for eating - it now holds random household goods) Unfortunately, after the first use, I went to try to use it again a few days later and it had dried out. There is still some liquid at the bottom, but there is a hard layer preventing it from getting out. I could theoretically puncture a hold and get some more out, but that seems like a step I should not have to take after such a short period of time. The product itself is great. The packaging could probably use some reworking to be more airtight. ... show more

Works great for small little projects and objects. The bottle itself has good design so that the glue in the bottle doesn't dry out, but can still be used time after time.

We bought this Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL for a few small jobs around the house and so far so good. It IS a solid hold, but also requires one use care when applying. It is VERY sticky instantly and can cause issues if you do not prepare the job before using and if not properly applying the Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL to whatever you're working on. One example of our use so far: we have a suitcase we always use, but the decorative silver strip on the pull out handle was popping out. Before it broke off and caused either an injury to the hand or weakened the handle we applied the Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL to reattach it permanently. And by Permanently I mean it! This glue should hold that silver strip in place long after the rest of the suitcase is destroyed! This stuff feels tough! You can see there was some slight spill over when we push it down and held it - this was mostly cleaned off after drying. But we also had to hold it in place for the first minute or so - which the glue dries FAST the piece is set on an uneven spot with divides and we had to fill those in - so holding it in place we used a plastic bag to keep it from our hangs, pulling up a few times making sure it was not sticking to the plastic. But having used this Gorilla Super Glue Gel XL we knew to have everything set before applying the glue, apply, then hold, and be careful. In the end, it worked out find and as mentioned - it is solid, tough, and will last. We like the Gorilla Glue product brand and will use it again. ... show more

This is good, fast acting Gel glue. It doesn't run and stays put. Its basically Gorilla brands form of crazy glue. You get more in a bottle than you do with most of the tiny bottles or tubes the others are selling. Its applicator nozzle does clog easily though even if capped, so you'll find you may have to cut off the nozzle small amounts each time you use the bottle. I've used it on all kinds of broken stuff and things I'm putting together. I use it a lot for gluing aquarium plants to rocks and for binding plastics to each other that I 3D print. It sets pretty quickly so you usually don't have to clamp or hold the glued parts for more than 20 to 30 seconds tops. Then give it more time undisturbed to finish the bonding. In air, it can bind two plastics together by literally melting them a bit together. Be sure you have everything placed like you want it as the bonding is so good, you'll not likely get them apart again. When used for aquarium plant and decoration bonding, it will harden extremely quick if it touches water. And its Aquarium fish safe because it cures in seconds when glued out of water and then the items can be placed in water. Plants that need time to connect to rocks or such get a head start when lightly attached using this glue. The plants aren't harmed and will eventually root on the rocks you glue them to. They'll eventually pull themselves free of the glue as long as you use it sparingly. And the price is good for this big bundle pack. I've ordered and reordered this glue before and am quite happy with it. If you don't use a bottle up once opened, it'll sometimes harden before your next use. Also keep this off of skin and away from pets. Its toxic to inhale and can unintentionally glue body parts together. You might want to wear glue proof gloves as it can get very messy to get off your skin. Best cement glue I've found at this price. I just wish I could get larger bottles or tubes of this. I guess that's good though that if you ruin it by forgetting to cap it, you've only ruined a small amount. Additional info 12-1-2024: I have ordered this product several times. But on my last order, I went back 2 months later to use the remaining 4 of the shipment of 6 and noted all 4 of those are no longer gel at all anymore. Still bonded fine but no longer gel and hard to control the application. So use your supply you buy within about 30 days or so or you might not get gel but just regular runny superglue. After having stored for a couple of months, 4 of my 6 were no longer even gel. Usually I use all 6 up quickly, but this time, after only 2 months of home shelf storage, they turned back to runny glue. ... show more
