I am new to epoxy resins and we tackled some wasp nest preservation with this epoxy. All in all, this worked beautifully once I got the hang of it! My son is very pleased with his wasp nests and bonus, a flower that I practiced on :) Pros: very clear! No yellowing and very little bubbles. Cons: the mixing instructions could be improved. My first project never set even after I followed the instructions with heating in hot water and mixing for more than directions said. I found somewhere to mix until you don’t see any white streaks and that’s what actually worked! ~6 minutes mixing depending on volume. This also takes quite a while to harden which was challenging when making a project that calls for multiple pours. Took 2-6 hours for first layers to harden enough for 2nd layer. If you’re thinking about trying this, I would go for it! Just make sure you mix it well enough or you’ll ruin your project and the mold you use. ... show more

I don’t know how the other people are mixing or how much pigment they’re mixing into this resin, I have had zero issues of it curing. It cures in 24hours in a solid form. Yes the bottles are small but it’s 32oz altogether. I’ve made 2 four sets of coasters that were about 4 inch and another large item with it as well. I felt like I got a lot from these little bottles as they seemed to hold more than expected. Follow the instructions, make sure your stirring well and to get the sides real good as well. I directly measured mine in cups and not by weight let them sit before mixing my colors or additives. I don’t use heat to clear the bubbles as I use isopropyl alcohol to clear any bubbles. very easy to mix an work any bubbles out of. Drying time send quicker than others I've used. No yellowing, an the quality of this product is awesome. It dries hard an slick. Clean up is very easy.

I probably should have read the volumetric size more closely, but the shape of the bottles implies that they require that large handle on the top, similar to a laundry detergent or similar. However, these are teeny tiny bottles. No bigger than my hand. Really kind of funny, but the value for money just isn't there. I have been making resin pieces for a long time now. I've used this brand everytime and loved it's quality, never had issues with it. This last time I got some (March 1). Every single thing I've done isn't curing... I know I'm mixing amounts correctly, nothing in the environment had changed. This definitely is a bad batch. I contacted seller and still haven't heard anything. For how expensive it is, it's extremely disappointing that i wasted my $ on a bad batch. *I am editing this review, as the seller reached out and offered a full refund. They did refund and were very nice and polite. As I understand bad batches are always a possibility, and due to their customer service.
