  • Great Compression stockings that are hard to pull on pull off.
Size: Large Color: Solid Black
SB SOX are harder than I anticipated they would be to put on and take off. These are by far the best quality compression sox I have ever worn. I thought I would take a chance on these sox from the internet. They are tight on my calves. After the 2nd day of wearing these sox I felt a nice comfortable compression from my toes to my knees. They are very, very comfortable. The swelling in my calves have gone down. I have been using compression stockings, off and on, for 20 plus years. The SB SOX are more advanced over some well known, and more expensive brand of compression sox. They are worth every dollar. They are also made in China. Tiny letters on the bag bottom. ... show more

  • Nice socks
Size: Large Color: Solid Black
These compression socks are very good. They have a thickness to the sole that my previous compression socks did not. They wear better and are still slim for dress shoes as well as being more comfortable.

  • Price is better than medical supply companies; comfortable; tops don't roll and stockings stay up.
Size: Large Color: White/Black
My doctor recently told me I needed to be wearing compression stockings due to lymphedema from a previous foot surgery, and before I left her office that day, she printed for me two stockings from Amazon that she recommended, and these compression stockings were one of them (the other pair was the color of regular nylons for women which is not a color offered here--though I do wish "tan" or "khaki" could be colors offered here). She told me if I went to a medical supply company to get the stockings, they would cost me a great deal of money, and I know that is true because I purchased one pair shortly after the surgery several years ago. These stockings are a bit easier (easier--not easy) to put on than my original pair, and I don't find them quite as tight as my original pair, but I do feel the compression, and they are comfortable to wear. They stay up, and the top does not roll down (my original stockings stay up, but the top does roll down, and that moves into the uncomfortable-to-a-little-painful category). I ordered the white, black, gray and argyle stockings, and, oddly, I find the gray ones to have a higher level of compression than the others; I consider that to be a good thing even though it does increase the challenge of getting them on and off. One of the things I don't especially like about these stockings is how they pick up every bit of floor "fluff" if you walk around without shoes on--even briefly. The socks seem to have a quality that does not allow fluff to be brushed off with your hand, and must be picked off bit by bit. And since they cannot be washed in hot water (I think directions call for a gentle cold-water wash which is how I wash them), I had/have big doubts on how to keep the white ones looking clean. My solution to this issue is to wear a pair of thin, white cotton ankle socks over the top of the compression stockings. That way if I get extra dirty walking around in the dirt (gardening or other lawn/yard work), I can wash the thin, cotton ankle socks in a hot-water wash with bleach to get them clean while the compression stockings should stay free of dirt. There is a small down side to this method: it does take up more room in my shoes, and the compression stockings are a substantial knit in the first place. Based on the size chart (which appears in one of the options you can click on underneath the picture of the stockings), I was not really sure which size to purchase. Based on my shoe size, it seemed I should be ordering a Medium. Based on the size of my calves, I should be ordering a Large. I decided to go with the Large because I did not want to risk the top band cutting too deeply into the area below my knees. When I take the stockings off at night, I do have a compression groove in that area, and sometimes it might itch there for a couple minutes, but rubbing it for a few moments takes care of the itchy feeling. Buying the Large size probably accounts for the difference between the level of compression I feel between these compression stockings and the pair I purchased after the surgery; when I purchased my original pair (from medical supply company) after the surgery, my leg had been measured after I had not been allowed to walk for six months and, therefore, my leg was devoid of muscle tone, and my calf was extra skinny. I hope it helps to say that when you order these stockings, the price is for a pair of stockings--not just one stocking. I say this because I still look at other sources for stockings, and sometimes it isn't really clear on whether a person will get one stocking (singular) or a pair of stockings for the price listed. I wish there was a uniform "standard" by which we could compare features of compression stockings. I am planning to order some stockings from another company soon so I can get some which merely look like "nylons." Instead of a shoe size and calf measurement for that company, they use a calf measurement along with the distance from the floor to the bend in a person's knee. Maybe they both end up with the same result, but I will have to wait and see. I like these well enough, so far, to believe I will order more in the future. ... show more

I can't say enough good things about these Compression Socks! They have truly been a game-changer for me. Whether I'm on my feet all day at work or hitting the trails for a run, these socks provide the perfect amount of support and comfort. Not only do they help alleviate swelling and fatigue, but they also improve circulation, which leaves my legs feeling energized and ready for anything. • Fits snug so not to fall down.
Size: X-Large Color: Solid Black
I have larger than XL legs. I still pulled these on with some effort. They don't slide down so I will probably keep these. The material is comfortable. The price is less than my previous compression socks.

  • Great color and support
Size: Small Color: Stripes-Gray/Blue
I wanted a thin and comfortable but stylish support sock for a spring trip to Europe. I suffer from spider veins and used to wear medical support socks that are toe less. They were so uncomfortable and ugly looking ( only come in black or beige) and you look like you are wearing support socks. This sock checked all the boxes. It goes out with a little difficulty ( which you want ). Great support and my legs felt great after wearing 6 hours standing at work and after a 4 mile run. The cotton inside the sock is so soft, the sock stays up and the design is so fun with my Mary Jane’s. The color in person is so much better than the online photo. It is dark blue and light gray ( the picture looks beige and black) . Very happy with the product and I now own 4 pairs. This pair, the navy, the light gray, and the eggplant and dark gray stipe( which the photo looks black and beige). The best part of wearing this sock is no one knows you are wearing support socks! ... show more

  • Solid quality, high compression
Size: X-Large Color: Solid Black
I'm 6'7" with a size 14/15 wide shoe, nearly 19" calf (when it's not swollen). The XL is a good fit for me, and they cover my entire calf. I don't understand the one review that said they're too short. I'm a 36/37 inseam. I doubt that person is anywhere close to that. This was my first time buying socks with this high a compression rating because I have both swelling and an ankle ulcer. I think they work great. They are a challenge to get on and off, but I think that's how compression socks are supposed to be. They're thicker in the foot. At the ankle, I can see the bandage through the sock. When I take the socks off, there's virtually no noticeable swelling. I've just ordered 4 more pair. Btw, I'm using Medihoney on the ulcer, also available on Amazon. ... show more

  • Very Good Compression Socks
Size: Large Color: Solid Black
These support socks are nicely made. They are comfortable and thick. I've order these socks several times in the same size, large. Some fit small and tight, while others are standard sized. I've kept them all.
