  • Excellent tracer
Style: Intellitone Probe Pattern Name: Kit
I get these for all of my techs. They are a little more spendy than the analog units, but for the time savings, it's worth it for me. My techs wouldn't know how to use an analog tracer if they needed to and they complain and cry anytime they have to use one. The main speed advantage of this fluke is the ability to trace the wire and then immediately flip the switch and be able to verify each pair for wiring issues or breaks. I've had to replace a few as the guys are pretty hard on them in the field but like I said, it's worth it. They do have analog built in if needed as well. ... show more

  • A bit pricey but it was to replace the same model that failed in a kit
Style: Intellitone Probe Pattern Name: Kit
This is a bit pricey for a probe. But I had a Fluke kit with a case that had a molded position for this toner. Others that were cheaper would not fit and then I would have to carry it separately from tone generator and tester. The original one lasted me years.

  • Sounds off!
Style: Intellitone Probe Pattern Name: Kit
I purchased this probe because my old Harris could not locate digital tones. This one does and is the same Fluke quality. My only problem with this unit is that it is so sensitive it is rather difficult to locate a tone within a cable tied bundle. Must first cut ties and then separated all wire individually. Still, better than nothing. ... show more

  • Expensive &Unreliable
Style: Intellitone Probe Pattern Name: Kit
These are great while they last. When they start behaving erratically in the middle of a job you may find yourself wanting to smash yours against a wall. They’re not especially well constructed and tend to go south a year or so out of warranty. Fluke doesn’t repair them either. If you don’t mind spending $135 every two years to replace it, buy this, although my last one squealed loudly in analog mode straight out of the package and was promptly returned to Amazon. Nice concept but Fluke needs to work on their quality control. ... show more

  • I've toned over 500 cables and it's been a great tool to use
Style: Intellitone Probe Pattern Name: Kit
I use this almost every day and while there are cheaper versions my grandpa always told me to never skimp on something you'll use for your job..that said if you're going to tone wires one time it probably won't make sense for you. I've toned over 500 cables and it's been a great tool to use.

  • Great toning tool
Style: Intellitone Probe Pattern Name: Kit
I recently purchased the fluke CIQ-100 Meter, I needed the 200 probe to be able to identify each individual Cat5 cable when we run 10 to 15 lines to single location. We absolutely rely on the meter and the probe to help us do the job and save us time and money. The probe is extremely reliable and very easy to use. It has paid for itself several times over because of the time is saves us. ... show more
