I really enjoy the amount of compression from these tights, but if you are a little wider around the waist, the correct size of compression does not fit properly. I had to cut the elastic in the waistband for it to feel comfortable-- sizing up limited the compression effect. These support hose are a great find! I could not find them locally, but happily found them on Amazon! I love that the hose only go to the ankle so your feet are not covered and they won't hot. I have to thank the prior buyers of this item for their reviews which really helped me to find the correct size. A few tips I would like to add to future buyers. I weigh 102 pounds and bought a medium, not a small like I usually wear. Also, I did put on a short, THIN pair of socks which were very helpful in getting these really tight hose up over my toes and heels without ripping them. I also wore a pair of thin rubber gloves, the type you use for food preparation. The socks and the gloves made the process of getting these hose on and up to your waist very easy! They fit perfectly! I kept the gloves and socks on for removing them as well. I would definitely recommend and purchase this item again! Thank you! ... show more

The doctor’s office was selling them for $60. I purchased the nude color they fit my lifestyle better. Of course you should be aware compression stockings are difficult to put on in order to do what they need so be prepared. I bought medium. I am female 5‘4“ 132 pounds. I am very happy with this product. I have ordered three different times. The first pair I ordered did develop a loose thread at the waist elastic, but it did not affect the part on my legs that gives the compression. I will continue to purchase from this seller when necessary.
