I bought this golf net for my grandson's 13th birthday and he loves it. I didn't feel that it was expensive and so was worried about the quality and sturdiness. It was actually easy to put together, very well made and can stand up well to very hard hit golf balls. It makes me happy to see my grandson enjoying it for hours and even his dad has been practicing as well. I have 2 criticisms though which have to do with the shipping. The box is merely a plain cardboard box rather than an attractive looking gift box. It could look so much better. Secondly, the box isn`t large enough and so the included turf, which is a great accessory, has to be folded over causing it both to be bent and cracked. It is a shame that the turf arrives almost unusable. I still give the net itself a 5 star rating. ... show more

Bought this for my 8-year-old who is suddenly golf-obsessed. The nylon & netting portion seems to be ok quality. It was easy to set up. And my son had lots of fun whacking golf balls into the tent. HOWEVER, this thing took me 3 times as long to take down as it did to put up. The pole connectors just kept getting stuck in the stiff nylon sleeves, and that slowed us down considerably (and I have lots of tent camping experience for what it’s worth). Then when I was removing the second pole, a section cracked and a shard stabbed my finger *through the nylon.* Pretty sure it’s still functional, but will be contacting the company for a replacement considering it was our first time setting it up. I do like the fact that aside from the turf piece, I was able to easily fit all components in the bag provided. I didn’t have to wrestle them in. While not the highest quality, it’s good enough for my son to have fun with. ... show more

After my teen son hit about 40 balls into it, the anchors that attach to the net both broke in the back. The nylon seams that hold the poles began to tear as well. Amazon should not be selling this cheap chinese crap. Oh, and the kicker is that I ordered in October during prime days for my son's birthday at the end of November. I can no longer return this hunk of trash because the return window closed in 30 days. I am quickly losing my patience with Amazon. Most everything they sell never lives up to expectations and is usually built with shoddy parts. They used to be a convenience, but have now evolved into frustrating peddler of waste and a burden to USPS and UPS alike! ... show more

We have had this set up for about 3 months now and we use it almost daily to practice irons, woods, and even driving(probably not it's intended purpose but it has done great). We took out the target part to drive into and we have ripped some holes in the net, which again is probably our fault as this is meant to practice more pitching or iron accuracy, but we have loved it and feel it is worth what we spent. Easy to set up and is essentially half of a tent. We set it up to use outside and in our garage/shop area and it is safe in those enclosed areas. This has made us much more experienced and confident golfers and don't have to spend money to go to a range to practice. Very convenient and fun. ***We would recommend using foam practice balls to extend the net life a little, especially if you use it to practice hard hits like drives. ... show more

This net has been a hit since my son opened it Christmas morning! It was so simple to set up & take down. It fits inside and will also work perfectly outside once it warms up a bit! It has been a great solution for a teenager who wants to play golf even when the winter weather isn’t permitting.     • Not very durable, buy something better

I've only used the net twice, and so far, I'm very disappointed. Had two miss-hits that missed the impact screen and blew right through the mesh effortlessly. That's on me for hitting bad shots, but something that is literally meant to help you get away from those bad shots shouldn't be so fragile. The second time using it, just hitting with a 5 iron, the two lower elastic bands that hold the impact screen in place simultaneously ripped out of the seams (all nearly perfectly centered shots). This can be remedied with some Jerry-rigging, but again, I feel like this is way too fragile for the money. I'm not a power hitter by any means, but I can't recommend this for someone with a higher swing and/or ball speed. I personally wish I would have spent more on something better. Would be fine for seniors, children, or players with lower speeds ... show more
