Features

  • Light Weight - Expertly developed hybrid material from rubber and polymer, the thickness of lawn hose is 3mm. This hose is lighter than traditional rubber hose while being abrasion-resistant and durable.
  • Swivel Handle - The movable handle allows the hose to rotate freely to prevent twisting, the handle can also fix the fitting to make the connection with faucet/nozzle/sprinkler more easily and effortlessly.
  • Leak Proof - Professional nickel fittings prevent leaks and are crush resistant. Note that two ends are MALE and FEMALE connectors.
  • All-weather Flexible - The rubber component allows the hose to remain flexible in extreme temperatures, defying heat or cold, still easy to coil and uncoil.
  • Wide application - Working water pressure is 150PSI, use under residential water pressure. Get a suitable length hose for your yard and simplify your watering process.
  • Using Suggestion: To minimise kinking, please smooth out the water hose before use and avoid using it in a tangled state. And if your hose is kinked, please rotate swivel handle to recover it.

  • Reinforced at the hose ends to prevent kinks
Size: 10' (feet) Color: 5/8 Inch Black
i needed a new short hose to connect my hose reel to the faucet. It is necessary for the hose to make bends at each end to properly align the connection. The old hose actually cracked through the threads at the reel connection. The plastic fitting on the reel was fine. The threaded hose end was one of those with threads rolled onto a thin metal tube. The metal threads actually cracked and leaked due to the bend. This hose has reinforcements at the end that will prevent it from bending too tightly. In addition, the threaded ends appear to be machined casting. At least they are something much stronger than the old hose. Delivered quickly, easy install and a much better hose. I also replaced the fitting on the hose reel since they would likely be the next part to fail with this stronger hose. ... show more

  • Best hoses I’ve found so far!
Size: 100' (feet) Color: 5/8 Inch Black
This is the only brand garden hose I’ll buy. After purchasing my first one years ago, it didn’t take long to realize this brand is far superior to all the others I’ve owned before. Over the last two years I’ve replaced all of my old hoses with giraffe. I highly recommend getting one for yourself. Great flexibility, extreme heat resistance (doesn’t get brittle over time), high pressure, quality connections, doesn’t kink unless you’re very careless about your doing. ... show more

  • Great heavy-duty hose, but it didn't fit with my needs (read my review to find out why)!
Size: 5' (feet) Male to Female Color: 5/8 Inch Black
I wanted to purchase a small heavy-duty 5-foot garden hose to quickly clean around my small balcony, and this Giraffe hose was on the Amazon's Choice list (highly rated, well-priced products). I have used cheap expandable garden hoses in the past, and I loved them. However, I found them to break too easily and only last about one season. I wanted something that would last longer! When the Giraffe hose arrived, I saw it was made very well, and I could see this product lasting a very long time. The ends of the hose looked like it had great sealing, and it had incredible ergonomic plastic grips to make twisting on/off an outdoor water spigot very efficient. This is definitely a 5/5 product as far as garden hoses go. Unfortunately, I had to return it because it didn't fit my exact requirements. This is not due to the manufacturer's fault, and I will share why. My main reason for returning it is because I have purchased these garden hose holders from Gardzen that literally hang from my outdoor water spigots (faucets). I really like these because I could easily wrap my garden hoses around them when not in use, and they keep everything neat and tidy. I especially loved them with my expandable garden hose setups from before. My issue with the Giraffe hose is that the ergonomic plastic grip (although amazing) makes the end of the hose very long and rigid and my setup becomes unusable. I am not able to twist the hose onto my outdoor water spigots because the mount gets in the way. It makes me wish that either the hose grips weren't so long or that the garden hose holder was bigger to give more leeway for the hose connection. This has nothing to do with Giraffe products itself. So, although their hoses didn't satisfy my requirements, they are very well-made and seem like they will last a very long time. To compare Giraffe hoses with expandable hoses though, I personally like expandable hoses better (if they lasted longer). Expandable hoses are much lighter, shrink down when not in use, and they never kink. The Giraffe hose is amazing when comparing with other heavy-duty garden hoses in their respective category, but their maneuverability is quite low compared to an expandable garden hose. If Giraffe made an expandable garden hose with brass fittings and shorter ergonomic grips in variable sizes (5 ft, 15 ft, 25 ft, 50 ft, and 100 ft), they would be my favorite hose company of all time! I don't think I can change back to a normal hose after experiencing expandable water hoses (even if they don't last as long). Can somebody please point me in the right direction? ... show more

  • (Updated) Kinky, and not in the good way, unless used with a hose reel.
Size: 100' (feet) Color: 5/8 Inch Black
(Update 13Aug2023) Giraffe customer service was quite friendly and seemed to be highly interested in resolving the concerns I described below. Those concerns, I think, still exist if a longer (~>50ft I would guess) hose is used withOUT a hose reel. Based on the concerned and constructive nature of the feedback with Giraffe Customer Service, my wife and I gave the hose another shot, this time with a hose reel. While I did need to spend ~20-30 minutes working the kinks out of our 100ft hose in order to get it to properly spool on the hose reel, once it had been fully spooled, it actually works pretty well. We've unspooled/respooled the hose multiple times over the course of a couple weeks of normal use in our yard and it works considerably better as a package deal with a hose reel. That is something I would suggest be put into the item description as a disclaimer for longer hose lengths. Kudos to Giraffe on their very engaged customer service. (Original Review) It's not that this hose kinks. All hoses kink. The issue with this hose is that the hose itself has no reinforcement in the tubing. It worked phenomenally when I took it out of the box, BEFORE I had attempted to uncoil it to actually use it. As soon as I attempted to uncoil the hose to use it, it kinked in 10-20 different places. Normally, and with a hose that has some structural reinforcement of the tube, that's not a big deal because you just unkink the hose and it stays unkinked, after which you can go about your merry watering business. Unfortunately with this hose, when you undo one kink, it creates a new one a few feet further down the line (because the tube isn't reinforced with anything to hold the shape). For this hose to be usable, you would likely have to lay out all 100 ft of the hose every single time I wanted to use it. Needless to say, that is completely impractical. It might be doable for a shorter length of this hose. The hardware at both ends of the hose to connect the end(s) to a spigot or hose nozzle is the single best design I have ever seen in a hose, because it basically has "handles" that help you get a lot of torque to get a tight seal. It was a real shame that the hose tube itself prevented practical use. ... show more
