I love my new Vaultek safe. My kids all asked why i bought a new clock; they have no idea what’s inside. This safe is a little pricey, but you get what you pay for. And so far, I’m extremely happy what I paid for.

Bought this a s a gift for my husband. He loves it so far, opens with a push of his thumb and only his thumb, nice and smooth opening, displays time, temp and humidity. I am sure there is more that it can do and I just don't know yet. It's nice to have the feeling of safety at my husband's side.

I love everything about it except the finger print reader. The mag charger and display are awesome, the storage size is perfect for EDC items (I have si g in hols-ter, knife, watch &wallet). It is functional and actually look attractive on the night stand. Now the negative. I have only added two fingerprints (one for each hand) which I thought would be enough...but it fails to read either print 90% of the time. Looking at their FAQ the fix is to use all or most of the 20 print memory to record more of the prints to improve the success rate. luckily it has an easy to use combo which is what I use instead now. If you want something that you can open blindfolded in a split second...I wouldn't get this. If this is more for peace of mind and keeping valuables out of site where time is not of the essence..then go for it. ... show more
