My mom is wheelchair bound and enjoys going to the grandkids soccer and baseball games. Spring and fall it can get pretty chilly. She was not cold at all… I even used it at a game she did not make it to and my grandson was able to sit on my lap and keep his legs warm…. No air gets through the quality material…... This is good quality and keeps me warm. The coldest I've tried it so far is 18 degrees and it did the job. The only issue I have is that it is too small. It would work great for petite or youth sized people. I am keeping it even though I can't zip it all the way up because its so well made and lets me get out in the cold to walk my dog from my wheelchair. If they ever made a larger size I would buy again. ... show more

I love this wheelchair blanket! I’m using this for my 14yo and there is plenty of room to grow but also it’s not bunchy or bulky. The fabric on the outside and inside are great, the zipper functions well. If you need to accommodate a chest harness and/or a lap belt, you’ll need to cut the fabric. I had a sibling sit in the wheelchair to figure out where I needed to make the cuts. The fabric cut easily but didn’t rip or fray. I hand sewed around the edges to prevent the cuts I made from possibly getting larger. I’ve washed and dried in the washing machine and the blanket held up perfectly. I dried on low heat for 15 minutes and hang dried the rest. You can easily put a blanket inside of this. I’m so glad I bought this. ... show more

I love the warmth of the blanket. But it's to small for the average adult. I'm in a wheelchair and always cold. I'm so disappointed in this product. Better off buying a sleeping bag at a local store.

    • Great concept, somewhat missed the mark, although there's room for improvement.
I really like the concept of this wheelchair blanket, but they need to work on some of the features to make it a 5 star review. 1. The foot area needs to zip completely open so a person who can not sit on their own can have their caregiver safely place them in their seat without pushing the blanket out of the way. It would be nice if it it could be removed independently as a choice. 2. The back side of the blanket wouls be better if it had some type of slip-resistant material so the patient doesn't slide out. The fabric is slippery and could cause a safety issue with the patient. 3. The material seems warm, but it would be better if it was waterproof. 4. A little bit more length would be great or perhaps a small, medium, and large choice would help to better fit the patients. 5. It wouls be nice if it had some kind of sturdy securement so that it didn't shift once it's on rhe wheelchair. 6. It would be nice if there was a "backwards" coat to purchase along with their blanket. Something that allows you to put a coat on the front with a snap or button around the neck. I love the concept, but definitely could be improved and if it does, I'll purchase an updated version. ... show more
