    • Powerful and Versatile
The Gavasto Immersion Blender is impressive. It has a wide range of functions and the device is well constructed and solid, yet elegant. The buttons and dial have a certain feel and smoothness about them that speaks to the well designed aspect of this product. There’s a wide range of blending speeds which allows for versatility depending upon the task at hand. The five year warranty also speaks to the quality and backing of the product by Gavasto. I do find the number of pieces to be a bit cumbersome and cluttered. This allows for an array of functions, but I find that I don’t really have a good place to store these items while not in use so as not to mix it with other items. I feel that a quality item like this could use a hard carrying/storage case which would greatly improve organization. Another potential solution would have been if the product had a stand for the main unit and attachments, kind of like an electric toothbrush. Unlike a traditional blender, it doesn’t have a base to stand upon, so it is likely to be stored in a cabinet, drawer or even in the box. I primarily use blenders to make smoothies and I found this to be different in this regard as the manual recommends that this be accomplished via an open container such as a pot or a bowl. Overall this worked well, and the immersion blender did a great job with the splash proof aspect - a slight splash of liquid or two did get through, but it wasn’t bad considering that I was using an open pot with a wide variety of contents. Something I hadn’t considered was that the open-air nature created a bit of a mess with powders as I was using cacao and peanut butter powders, which coated the surrounding area with dust. The next day I used the vegetable chopper to make a smoothie and this worked very well. In fact, it blended much better than comparable blenders I’ve used. I blended milk, ice, bananas, strawberries, honey and powders and it turned out perfectly. There was plenty of space within the chopper enclosure to accommodate all the items and I could have even added much more. One thing I did observe is that the blade separates from the enclosure a bit too easily. This didn’t occur during use, but while pouring the blended smoothie contents into a cup and even during cleaning. It’s not really an issue, just something to be aware of so as to be mindful. Cleanup is very easy. Overall the Gavasto Immersion blender is a very powerful and versatile kitchen appliance.     • Surprisingly VERY good immersion blender
Yes, I received this immersion blender free of charge, but after testing it out - I can honestly say I would buy this. I wouldn’t usually pay this much for an immersion blender, but this one actually works REALLY well! So it’s worth the price. It feature 15 speeds yall! This means you can chop, crush ice, blend a smoothie, or use the beaters to mix batter. It’s able to do all these things because the motor is 800w. Powerful enough - yet not too high wattage to work with my ecoflow (which can easily handle short periods with this blender!). It comes with a 5 year warranty. Who does that these days? Most companies build with obsoletion in mind so they can sell you another blender in a year or two. I hate that! It’s refreshing to see a company build something that will last a good while. It’s the most versatile hand immersion blender I’ve ever had (I’ve owned a few and they were good, but not this good)! I can chop vegetables within seconds, blend a smoothie, blend soup, beat pancake or cake batter, whip cream, etc. most immersion blenders do one or two things well but this one does them all well. ... show more

Nice blender. It's not too loud and works well. The cord is long enough to reach most places I would use it and the power seems to be more than enough. The unit has a speed dial on the top, this is useful so you don't make a mess! I would say that it would be nice if it had a build-up in speed when you hit the trigger, but it just jumps to action! The mixer attachment is great for when you are making smaller batches of things (cupcakes, muffins, you name it). It also works really week in a pan/pot on the stove - just make sure you don't use the mixer attachment in a non-stick pan as the paddles are metal. The blender attachments make short work of smoothing out a sauce or making a small batch of whipped cream! The only part I don't like is the larger blender, it feels cheap. The only other oddity is the short 3-day window you have to register the product for a 5-year warranty. Usually this is 30 days or so, 3 days is crazy! ... show more

Four blades, two are long and two are very short. I already own a high dollar blender that I use for smoothies, soups and nut butter. I also have a chopper, a stand mixer and a hand held mixer. This can replace all of the above except for making hot soup and nut butter. I tried it on a banana smoothie with milk and frozen bananas. It actually turned out well. This way I can make smoothies directly into the insulated cup. Clean up is a breeze. I have not tried the other two items yet. Can’t wait to make iced coffee with it. Years ago I had an immersion blender and it was not as good as the one that I had just reviewed. I gave it away after a few years because it was not versatile. At least this one is. I will definitely use it for scrambled eggs. Not often do you see a 5 year warranty. ... show more

This immersion blender is very powerful. I used the food processor bowl to rice a head of cauliflower and it handled it in seconds flat. I was very impressed with how quickly and easily it turned the raw cauliflower into tiny pieces. As an immersion blender it is more than powerful enough to puree soups and vegetables. I used the beaters to make whipped cream but that's not something I would recommend since it takes a long time and can overheat the motor. A stand mixer or hand mixer would be a better choice for that. The unit is heavier than other immersion blenders I've owned and that might not appeal to some people. The accessories connect and disconnect easily and don't take up much storage room. Overall I thinks it's a very versatile and useful kitchen tool. ... show more
