  • Good smaller tiller
Got this mini cultivator for my grandparents, and it's been a hit in their garden. The engine packs enough punch to handle tough soil without being too hard to manage. They love the soft rubber wheels and ergonomic handle, which make it easier to maneuver around their flower beds. The detachable push bar is great for storage in their small shed. It did take them a bit of practice to get used to the power, but now they're tilling like pros. The only downside is it can be a bit heavy for extended use, so they take breaks. Overall, it's been a great tool for keeping their garden in shape without too much strain. If you've got older folks who love gardening but need a bit of extra oomph, this tiller is worth considering. ... show more

  • Gear box froze up
Gear box froze after I used first time. Only ran 15 minutes at a time. Gave it plenty of time to cool down between uses. I was using on my garden...ground already tilled up. I was just using to keep weeds at bay. I returned a week ago, still no refund.

  • Excellent, lightweight, manageable tiller
The media could not be loaded. Tiller was very easy to assemble, with good directions provided. It's the perfect size for working in small areas, but still able to tackle larger jobs. It started almost immediately, and has plenty of power, I never stalled it or had any issues at all with it's ability to churn up dirt. All in all, a well designed and built piece of equipment. I've been using it quite a while now and am very pleased with it! ... show more

  • Don't use the plastic clips to hold the throttle cable zip tie it to the handle instead.
There is plenty of torsion in the throttle cable. Don't use the plastic clips, Zip tie the cable to the handle support instead. Because on the 2nd use the cheap clip popped off and allowed the cable to rest in front of the exhaust which promply melted and fused the cable. A design error. Also there is no visible customer support who will pick up the phone call or answer emails. Otherwise the cultivator has plenty of power to chew up the hardest dry dirt my garden beds had to offer. ... show more

  • Just right for the small to medium size garden
The media could not be loaded. This is the third Wild Badger product I've reviewed and I've gotta say the Badger folks produce some nice products. The tiller arrived in a very substantial box, packed carefully and buffered on all four corners so the tiller was well protected - I mention this because from my experience, a company that cares enough to securely box up their product so it will survive even the most brutal freight handlers, is also a company that takes care and pride in designing the equipment inside the box! OK so putting the tiller together was easy and quick. Don't worry if there is a top or bottom to the middle handle bar rods, they work either way. I gassed it up with the 50/1 two stroke fuel, pushed the primer seven times (don't need that many pumps thereafter, just need that many to get the initial fuel flowing), and it started with four pulls, Once warmed up a singe pull got her running again. As you see in the video I gave it a try outside the garden in a hard grassy area. The wheels on the tiller can be easily set to two different heights by simply pulling the axle down and popping it into the alternate catch. A front tine tiller digs and pulls you forward as you go. The tines did a good job of loosening up the hard soil, but I did need to go over it a couple times to get the depth I wanted (I think more practice is really what I needed). I did run it in the garden soil in-between my plantings, and it dug the softer soil easily. As this is June, it'll get a more strenuous workout in the fall and spring preparing for next season's garden. A far as the engine and controls; * there was plenty of power even when turning up some smaller rocks, clutch did not slip * the throttle control was smooth, and the thick rubber grips were easy on the hands * I like that the off switch returns to ON automatically once the engine turns off * at the bottom, the handlebars join to a "U" shaped bar, which makes an excellent place to grip and lift the tiller if you need to transport or store it The design and build earn five stars. I'll update this post on durability should there be any issues, but for a small to mid size garden, this Wild Badger tiller is ideal! ... show more

  • Easy to assemble and use
This tiller is a great choice for keeping the space between your garden rows clear of weeds. It assembled in maybe five minutes. Since it used 2-cycle oil mix, you can simply add fuel and go. It is of medium weight, but by pushing down on the handles, the front end raises up and it rolls easily from the storage shed to the garden. A couple pulls to start and it is ready to go. Good design, easy to use, lightweight for a broad spectrum of users. ... show more

  • Difficulty assembling
It came with incorrect parts to assemble. Returning because of difficulty with the manufacturer in getting the correct assembly pieces delivered.
