    • Kink's easy
I got 2 of these hoses because they were a hybrid. I intended on using them outdoors over the winter for drainage water on a camping trailer. The trailer will be lived in till 04/24. The hoses kinked like the cheapest hose on the market. Once the hose kinked/pinched it was diffacult to take the pinch out of the hose. Every loop of the coiled hose kinked while uncoiling it. After getting the kink's out of 200 feet of hose I was wondering why I bought this costly hose. I wrapped the hose with heat tape and encased it in foam pipe insulation. My thought was the hybrid hose would handle the heat tape I wrapped them with and would hold up where a standard hose will not. Putting the kinking aside the hose was flexible, not light weight, felt like it will serve the my purpose. The kinking is the only reason it got 3 stars. I'll see how it performs and update my review. Updated review. I've been using the hoses since I got them. I set up the hose by wrapping the hose with heat tape, encasing in foam pipe insulation held together with electric tape. So far the system is working just fine. My only concern now is if the hose will continue to hold up to the heat tape. Which is why I choose this hybrid/rubber hose in the first place. No issues yet. Again kinking was the reason for 3 stars, using the hose like I am kinking has not been a problem. I'm upping the rating to 4 stars ... show more

Kinks and has no longevity. Spend more money on a high quality product is what I recommend. Hose tangles easily, does not coil well, feels flimsy after outdoor exposure just in a few months. I’d give it zero stars if I could.

The hose is small in diameter. So far it has not crinked but it does not appear to be the quality I expected.

This hose has high quality brass fittings - this is where manufacturers often get cheap with thin brass or aluminum. The hose swivels at the ends to reduce kinks. Time will tell regarding the hose itself - how it holds up in the elements - I have only had it a few weeks.

The product description states: "No more stopping to fix the kinks, coils easily and lays flat with zero memory!" This is not true. It kinks like every other hose you grew to hate. I gave it three stars as I will concede that it may be well-built. But it kinks.
