Great price, works well, needs to be powered/or switched by camera. I either forget to turn it off, or record without volume as I forget to turn it on. While I agree that this is operator error, If this feature existed it would be a great microphone.

The quality could be better, but ok for the price. If you have this mic plugged into your camera but not switched on just unplug it because you will have no audio!

There is nothing wrong with this budget microphone. The setup was relatively easy as it’s just 2 batteries and the aux cable that plugs into your camera. Sound difference was a lot more clear in your voices in the video, as well as blocking out most of the wind noises in the background. I’d suggest turning the wind compensating mode on the camera as well for even more performance improvements, but overall for the money this mic is pretty good! ... show more
