The stove works well and will get a tent way too hot if you want it that way. The fire lasted for 3-5 hours when packed full. Everything works well but having an opening on the front door that cant be closed isn't great when you’re in a tent. Sparks, smoke and the light of the fire all came out of the opening at some point during my trip. It would also be great if they included one more section of pipe, the way it is now the peak of my tent is even with the top of the pipe. Those are the only complaints I have, I would definitely buy this stove again but Ill have to find a way to shut the front hole off. ... show more

I do not normally leave reviews, but this product definitely exceeds my expectations. Boiled my water for tea in less than five minutes using dried bark and unseasoned wood found all over my yard. Every review fails to mention the fact that if your stove has any back draft this stove has a BIG hole in the door! You can probably cover it with flashing but the whole stove has holes all over the place too. Get something that will protect you from back drafting! Try Guide Gear stoves! I was hesitant to get this since there was no reviews, but decided to get it anyways. Arrived and tested with firewood and boy it handles well. Glass is clear, and I hope it continues to do so, but quality of material, stand, and all is very good.

So far so good. Only complaint is smoke leaking out instead of going up chimney. I imagine some light welding will solve the issue. Despite the smoke this is still very close to 5 stars because the glass wall that lets you see into the stove is the coolest thing about this trip so far.
