We purchased this for my son for Christmas. He is very into retro games so he was super excited to try it out. Right out of the box it wouldn't even turn on, then after unplugging and plugging it in multiple times it worked, for about 10 minutes. Long enough for us to also realize it didn't come with any memory card, so if you'd like to save progress on any games you're playing, you cannot. After it quit altogether I bought a new power cord for it and that seems to have made it work. Now I'll buy a memory card and keep my fingers crossed that nothing else stops working on it. ... show more

Out of the box it had everything to play with the exception of a memory card. That was easy to take care of. Fired right up and I was playing twilight princess in minutes. No issues so far and shipping and handling was on time and efficient.

Comes with everything to connect except for a memory card but thats easy to get. Works perfectly, the controller works smoothly with no buttons getting stuck, and the gamecube doesn’t heat up that much!! I got it as a birthday gift for my bf and he loves it so much.

Was this even tested? Finally got around to using this after the busy weekend and tried 5 games and doesn't play even on of them. Doesn't even try to spin any game. Was sent a broken system. To top it off was given a broken controller
