Everyone knows that you can’t beat the Nintendo brand GameCube controllers and you can tell these aren’t those. That said, they are amazing knock offs when you consider how bad so many off-brand GameCube controllers are. Buttons aren’t sticky and the stick isn’t tight compared to other knock offs like the one I bought at GameStop. I never write reviews, even when the thing I get isn't very good. So trust me when I say I am extremely displeased with these plastic junk scraps. On one the c stick is inverted somehow. Dragging down points the camera up for some reason. The other one arrived with the main stick half out of socket, had to pop it back in. And then it and the c stick had STRONG drift to the right. The sticks have no soft plastic, so it's just hard plastic that your finger will slide right off of. The shoulder buttons don't have any click, and the rest of the buttons press down too far. I get that these are cheap rip off MadCatz style controllers, but for your own good try your luck with a different brand of cheap controller cause these are just bad. ... show more

I bought this controller pack because I needed GC controllers for my Wii. However, the red controller came with a broken Z button (couldn't press it down). I decided to drop it, for some reason, and the drop actually made the Z button work again. As for playing with the controllers, the analog stick was a bit stiff, but after use it clears up. Triggers are good. Z button is working and clicky after I dropped it. Buttons have a bit of a cheap feel to them but it's not terrible. I was able to play Super Mario Sunshine and Wii Virtual Console pretty well, much better than that GameStop branded GC controller. This is the only controller I know that gets better after dropping it, and this requires me to rate this 2 controller pack 5 stars. ... show more

Just got my order trying to play some classic game cube with some new controllers but as soon as I plug them in I had instant drift. Sometimes the triggers or the A button doesn’t work. Sadly I’m going to have to send these back.

    • Issues with one controller
The black controller from the set already has stick drift. Just opened it and test it by changing to time on my gamecube and it keeps pulling down. Even when I'm not touching the controller. No issues with the red controller

Bought this 2 pack for my daughter's GameCube. Work wonderfully!! Love that the length of the cords are a little longer then the name brand. Colors are better looking in person. Recommend buying the 2 pk to everyone! Definitely get ur moneys worth! And you cant beat the price either! Several thumbs up!!! ... show more

Got the controllers in for two purposes: 1) I needed one more Gamecube controller for a 4 person set. It would rarely be used so it didn't need to be great. 2) I wanted to test doing a custom paint job on a controller and didn't want to mess up an official controller. So the problems: 1) On one controller the left joystick stopped working after about 5 mins. 2) Even when it was working, the joysticks don't have quite the right movement to them, like the shell is just ever so slightly off. 3) You can tell after opening it, that the shells are meant to be a direct copy of the originals, but an original GC controllers PCB does not fit in the shell. Really, I got what I needed out of them, as one controller held up just fine to a couple matches of Super Smash and I was able to do the custom paint job. Still, incredibly disappointed in the overall quality. Honestly can't think of a legitimate reason to buy these unless you want to work on your soldering skills or something. ... show more
