The media could not be loaded. Would not buy again as not only is this a DOL-101 console which removed ports, but also is the lesser desired version as it makes modding less ideal as it can’t utilize a eon MKII for a plug and play HDMI connection, but also does not allow a solder in HDMI replacement. If you’re going to charge almost 2x what game stores do, I not only expect an impeccable condition console (mine has dozens of scuffs, scratches, and a minor crack) but also a 1st party controller and cables vs the included cheap 3rd party ones this seller included. Purchased this as an experiment to see the quality from Amazon but save yourself time and money by just buying locally, mine wasn’t even fully clean as it was covered in a layer of dust! ... show more

This was a really fun gift to purchase for myself. I felt nostalgic to play my collection of Gamecube games on a Nintendo Gamecube, so I bought a refurbished one from this seller. I had zero issues with shipping or handling. Everything came in a very secure and discreet box. The only issue I really have with the product is that it came with low quality replacement wires. While I'm certain finding legitimate Gamecube wires is rather difficult, the wires that came with my system don't feel like they will last very long. That being said, I've now had my refurbished Gamecube for approximately 1 year, and the wires are still functioning. However, the fact that this Gamecube turned on and was able to read and play my Gamecube games was (and still is) very exciting for me. I'm new to gaming so I didn't realize it was locked to the Japanese region until I bought a PAL game. Had to buy a new lead & memory card as well, so just be aware of these small details....Just got the Japanese game but it doesn't work either so it looks like I've done my money!!!

I received my Gamecube and it definitely has noticeable scratches and blemishes when held at arms length despite what the description says. That I suppose I could let go, but the system wasn't even really cleaned. There was so much dust in the vents and on the fan. Tons of dust bunnies flew out when I took a can of air duster to it. I'd expect this from a cheap purchase, but I bought a $200 version that says cleaned in the description. I guess I'm going to keep it because it actually works and I don't want to potentially get one that's worse. I'd be lying though if I said I didn't feel like a complete sucker for paying $200 when you can pay half that. I'd recommend buying the $100 versions or going the facebook marketplace route if you're going to have to clean it yourself anyways. ... show more

So far my new gamecube is running flawlessly and looks good in my collection, there was a small problem at first were the system wouldn't start reading the disk by I think it was form lack of use,regardless thank you for the renewed gamecube!
