My workplace is often somewhat warm and this works great to help keep me from getting sweaty! It offers a moderate amount of cooling and has three setting for the fan (low, medium, high). On the medium setting I get hours of use out of it and it usually lasts for my entire, 8 hour, work day (but I do NOT run it continuously). It recharges quickly. Four hours fully recharges from completely dead. It does not work very well in an extremely hot environment since it recirculates the ambient air. If you use it outside when it’s 90° it’s just going to blow the hot, 90° air back at your face. But it works great when you’re inside and the area is just too warm (and you don’t control the thermostat). I work as a floral designer in a large supermarket and I would be super sweaty at work every day. Using this I don’t get sweaty and feel much more comfortable. It’s comfortable to wear and lightweight. Plus the black, carbon fiber design I chose doesn’t really stand out so it’s not super noticeable. It’s also great for hot flashes!! ... show more

I wanted a personal fan that was quiet. On level one it's quiet. Level two is not quiet and level three "forget about it!" There's no quiet at level 3. In my opinion you can't hear your thoughts much less anyone words spoken to you. But it will cool you down and prevent face sweating Great value for the money. Airflow is good and it's light weight. The speed of the fan is what makes it loud on level 3. The most important thing to consider is that it the temperature of the air it blows is from the temperature of the air surrounding you. In other words if you standing in the sun with 110 degrees weather all around you this fan will blow hot 110 degrees weather on your face. Edit: The company contacted me after I posted my review and their customer service was incredible. They did everything they could to make my experience better eithout being asked. I would try them again if only fir that reason. 💜 Original review: I picked this one up after squishing my AMACOOL neck fan. This fan is decent. It seems cooler than the AMACOOL and about the same level of settings and noise, however, it is not flexible at all and the air isn't angled quite right, often going straight up or, unfortunately, into my ears. Since I am pretty sensitive to wind in my ears, this is unpleasant. I can't speak to the battery life as I haven't used it for extended periods. It charges fairly quickly, is lightweight and the lack of padding keeps it cool for longer. Today I wore it for a couple hours without turning it on and it cooled me slightly because it retained the AC cooling from my house. Unfortunately, the air in my ears is a deal breaker. I bought this fan because I often work in hot conditions and wanted something to help me cool off. This works great if you are sweating. I say sweating because it makes the air feel cool. This fan doesn’t cool the air, just sends the air out. There is 3 different fan speeds. The two higher ones are louder but not too bad. Size is good, feels and looks like a pair of headphones. I bought this fan for game days in the Florida heat and let me tell you, this thing is fantastic. Charges quick and will usually last several hours on low/medium setting. I took it with me to a theme park and it started POURING rain. We were absolutely soaked and in my hurry to find shelter, I dropped it several times and it fell in quite a few deep puddles.
