For a small fan it does provide air flow! I worked in a warehouse with no ac it helped ! Add a cool cloth around your neck and it sends to blue cooler!

My order came in the time I was told. It's pretty and works fairly well, however, I have found that it works for no longer than five hours at low speed. This fan does what it's described as doing - it circulates air. With that being said, if you are in a hot environment, this will not cool you off, it will simply circulate the hot air. I've used this mostly while doing projects around the house to prevent getting too sweaty and it works great for that purpose. I've also used it during walks outside and it does the job for that also. I wouldn't use this to stay cool in areas like a hot attic or a car, it just won't work for that purpose. I like that there are 3 different settings and it's just heavy enough to not worry about it falling off my neck. I would buy again to gift, but only if there were a discount. ... show more

    • Works as advertised
I use this fan mostly when I'm doing yard work. It stirs up an acceptable amount of air on the high setting, keeping in mind if the temp around you is hot the air will be hot. So the real benefit is in air circulation only, it will not cool you down in extreme heat. Also, I've noticed that where it rests on my neck and shoulders, it gets pretty sweaty since the air only blows in one direction, so I find I need to adjust or completely remove it periodically. The noise level is ok, but definitely not silent. I would not wear it on a walk where I need to be aware of my surroundings. But then I wouldn't wear earbuds on a walk either, so for some the noise level may not be an issue. All that said... It's ok, but I would probably not buy it again. ... show more

My sister recommended this for us since we were in 100°+ heat and still struggling to stay cool in our air conditioning home. These worked to keep us cooler indoors yet, when we stepped outside, they immediately sucked up the hot humid air and blew it at us. Noise level its a fan, near your ears. Enough said. Battery life lasts a long enough time. We ran them all day and charged them at night. Lightweight. Fit comfortably around neck with no problems. I have arthritis in my shoulders and felt no extra pressure. Overall a good product if you are indoors or are looking for a fan. I ordered one for our June trip to Disney World. The first one arrived and one of the fans was broken and very loud. I reported it to the seller and they responded within minutes and sent a replacement that arrived the day before our trip. The replacement was great. Quiet. Easy to wear.
