  • Great
Size: 50Watt
I recently purchased the FREESEA Aquarium Fish Tank Heater, and it has been a fantastic addition to my aquarium setup! This 50W submersible heater is specifically designed for small tanks, and it’s perfect for maintaining the right temperature for my betta fish and other aquatic friends. One of the standout features of this heater is its adjustable temperature external controller. Setting the desired temperature is a breeze, and the clear display allows me to monitor it at a glance. I’ve noticed that my fish are much more active and healthy since I started using this heater, which I attribute to the consistent temperature it maintains. The design of the heater is compact and sleek, making it easy to fit into my 1-10 gallon tank without taking up too much space. It’s also submersible, which means I can place it exactly where it’s needed for optimal heating. The installation process was straightforward, and I appreciated the included suction cups that keep the heater securely in place. I was also impressed by how quickly the heater warms up the water. It doesn’t take long to reach the desired temperature, and I feel confident that my fish are comfortable and safe. The heater has built-in safety features, such as over-temperature protection, which provides additional peace of mind. What I love most is its versatility; this heater is suitable for both freshwater and saltwater tanks, making it a great option if I decide to diversify my aquarium in the future. The quality of the materials used feels solid, and I expect it to last a long time. Overall, the FREESEA Aquarium Fish Tank Heater is an excellent choice for anyone with a small aquarium. It offers reliable heating, easy temperature control, and peace of mind for fish owners. I highly recommend this heater for keeping your aquatic pets happy and healthy! ... show more

  • Fish boiled alive overnight: dead
Size: 100Watt
I woke up this morning to my betta dead and the tank temp at 105.2 degrees Fahrenheit and the heater registering HH. I’ve bought two of these and the first one was great. But now both my self and my kid are heart broken to have our fish dead after having the new tank set up for less than a month to have my fish boiled alive. I’ll never buy this again. I’d rather go to the cheap not able to control undersize heaters. At least my fish won’t be dead. ... show more

  • You get what you pay for
Size: 50Watt
Got this to set up a little quarantine tank. The price is right and it holds temp fairly steady. Its thermostat is WAY off. I have to set it 4deg F above what I want the temperature to actually be. The only reason I'm not returning it is that it was super cheep, and it does hold temp once you figure out the disgusting temp difference between what is shown vs actual. I would say skip this one and get some hygger for a cheap heater, but if you do plan to use it as a backup or secondary heater, definitely have a good thermometer on hand. ... show more

  • works great
Size: 50Watt
the only think I don't like about it is if you go over the set temperature you have to keep going up until it starts over again, and its a bit awkward shaped but that cloud just be me. love it otherwise its durable and works great! must be fully submerged before plugging it in and remove it when doing a water change because it really has to be fully submerged. I use it for my small fish tank for my fry keep my little babies warm thank you! ... show more

  • Stopped working after 4 months
Size: 100Watt
Look I know these things aren't meant to last forever but I certainly expect it to work for AT LEAST a year. I bought this about 3-4 months ago and at first it worked great but just last week it completely malfunctioned. The worst part about it is that instead of turning off and just not turning back in like any other appliance, this heater started getting hotter and hotter to the point that it reached 100 degrees. I didn't notice until I saw bubbles appearing in my aquarium. Luckily I was home and noticed it happening. No fish deaths. But the fact that is OVERHEATED like that is just dangerous. Do what you will but I wouldn't trust this product. ... show more

  • My beta loves it!
Size: 50Watt
We like to leave our house open as much as possible so it is too cool for Fred, my betta. He has a 1.5 gallon aquarium and this heater is absolutely perfect. I can set the temperature and not worry that he's getting too cool.

  • Prevented fish death
Size: 50Watt
This was great because it can adjust according to how much heat it needs. Had another heater and it killed the fish because it would get too warm when the room was too warm. This is great because you can choose the temperature and it has a thermostat.
