I love it. My ball python sleeps in his hide all the time, and the second I stuck this vine in, he came out to check out this new thing and poke it around. He is clearly full of wonder, and so I love it. EDIT: I bought 2 more and strung it all around my other snake enclosures. The suction cups are basically useless with a heavier reptile, so just take those off and drape it around the branches. I also cut one in half and put half in one snake's enclosure, and put the other half in another enclosure. THE BEST. ... show more

Really nice looking vine. There is so much to work with its awesome. I lost a few leaves putting it in the tank, but you can't even tell. It was plenty enough to fill my 20 gal long tank! Absolutely recommend this product.

    • When real plants die!

Got this for my son's gargoyle tank. We had a real Pothos plant that is struggling so I wanted to get some coverage for the tank as gargoyle's love to hide. I got one to start and was shocked at how much coverage I got with one. Two would have been too much for the large take we have. I wrapped it around branches and other things we have so did not need to use the suction cups. It really filled out the take and now the gecko is hiding in all sorts of places and climbing some of the vines. This is a very good option for people who either do not want real plants or have a hard time getting real ones to survive. This is in a bioactive tank. I also find that it is helping keep the humidity higher. Something very important for the gargoyle. And I have noticed my live pothos seems to be doing a little better so I am thinking the dry air from winter was really casuing issues for the live plant. With this fake one, and the humidity more under control, I am hoping this will allow a better overall bioactive environment. ... show more

I purchased these vines for our crested gecko's terrarium. We had been using plastic-y vines but I wanted something more flexible and natural, without having to worry about watering live plants and caring for them (or worrying they would make our gecko sick if she decided to munch on them- you know what I mean!). When you receive the item, it doesn't look like much, and even as I was taking it out of the bag and untwisting it (it's basically one really long vine) I still had my doubts. However, it worked out great and our crestie is very happy! I ended up cutting the vine in half, and then folding one of the halves in half, putting one of the included suction cups in the fold and then fluffing it out a bit. We have a 12x12x18 ExoTerra tall terrarium and just one half of a vine takes up over half of the terrarium! It's a great buy and I've even got extra if I need to replace it in the future! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I love this plant! I bought this to go into my hermit crab tank, and when I received it, it was WAY longer than I though it would be. I didn't have a place where I could put the entire thing, so ended up cutting it in pieces, and placing them in various places, and I put some in my leopard gecko tank as well. My first observation was the quality, it's worth the cost. We tried cheaper vines from hobby shops but at the end, this one is outlasting all the others. It has not fallen apart and we have soaked it, scrubbed it with a brush, etc. to clean the poop off. The suction cups work well but the vine tends to fall off the hook so we do not use it anymore; we wrap the vine around the Fluker's Bend-A-Branch and it looks good. ... show more

This looks a lot like the actual plant it duplicates as far as color goes. Used to make a snake enclosure more attractive (to humans) and provide some "privacy" for the snake when out of hide. Don't know if the snake cared or not. But it didn't hurt her. The colors did Not run when rinsed in a tub of water. Wire enclosed in plastic stem holds its shape well. There was one end of wire exposed. Bent it over to make it safe. Good choice to liven up the looks of your reptile environment. Or your breakfast nook. ... show more
