The media could not be loaded. I have been pouring in time energy in resources in to customizing my ender 3 printers. I've probably worked on them for at least 100 hours, tuning, customizing, upgrading etc. When a project deadline began looming I decided the enders wouldn't get me there in time. I bought this printer, skeptical, knowing it's also not the latest and greatest but it was available now and had decent reviews. Well, I'm blown away. Setup took about 2 hours, extremely detailed instructions. If I had to put together another it would probably take 20 minutes after knocking out the first one. The printer came with a test file, so I ran the automatic bed leveling which really is automatic unlike my ender 3 printers, I set my Z offset, and then it was off to the races. The included test print was flawless. The speed, unreal. Much better speed and quality than I could have dreamed of. Next I sliced one of my design files on Cura, expecting to spend several hours or days tuning before I could get my files to print like the test file. No... Seriously, using recommended settings, no tuning of any sort just slice and print. My item was complete in 4 hours. This print took 14 on an ender 3 and the quality once again, flawless. I could not possibly give this printer a stronger recommendation. It's amazing, you need one. A machine I bought just to fill a gap until my Bambu order gets fulfilled has become my favorite by miles and miles. ... show more

To say you tube reviews were terrible i bought it anyway to see i haven't seen any of the major issues alot of reviews it don't print at 1000 mm all the time but none of the printers do there top speed all the time easy set up also.

    • Easy to use and assemble.
The FLSUN Q5 is my second 3d printer, but my first Delta printer. It's fun the watch the motion of the extruder when it's printing. Assembly was easy and took less than 15 minutes. It prints well. The textured heated bed holds my PLA prints firmly without needing hairspray/painters tape/glue sticks. Just let it cool down before trying to remove the prints as some people have messed up the glass bed by pulling chucks off it while it was hot and too firmly attached. I have also printed with TPU (flexible) and PETG filament. The auto bed leveling makes leveling the bed much easier then my old 3d printer. It has an 8" circular print bed which is smaller than my old 200x200 square print bed. This hasn't caused an issue for me but make sure what you want to print fits in a 7.5" circle. Vertical height of prints can go up to about 180mm. The printer is quiet but the hotend cooling fan blows a lot of air and is the noisiest part of the printer. I have it sitting on my desk and can still talk to people on the phone while it's printing to overall it's a pretty quiet printer. ... show more

I bought the FLSUN SR Delta printer after hearing how FAST it is/was and the cost of $200.00. What a steal. Well it is not a steal and its neither FAST or reliable. It was a quick set up after about 30 minutes. I turned on the 3D printer and much to my surprise the screen had lines running through it. I contacted/emailed support and a day later they asked me to do some troubleshooting which I had already done and in my email explained the entire process. I did as requested and still lines. They offered to send me just the replacement screen not the entire housing. That was three weeks agon and all I’ve heard back after several emails is crickets. Since then I have had one problem after another and FLSUN’s support is very lacking. I’ve had one failed print after another. FLSUN support suggested that I change out the nozzle and hot end with the provided replacement, same issue. The nozzle when heated up slowly begins to unscrew and leak hot melted filament onto the print. If it even got that far. Needless to say PASS on the FLSUN Speed Racer, which it is not, and save yourself a lot of headaches. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Be careful although the comments are quite clear about the product you receive. I was aware the company was going to send a Q5 delta Not a SR delta apon, receiving the flsun Q5 the smaller version of the Delta speed racer. The photo in the advertisement is wrong simple technical glitch. I was happy to find out it fit comfortably on my little table. Also absolutely quiet!!! This IS NOT MY FIRST, my very first 3D printer was an "fl-sun QQ" very similar printer! I understood knew what I was getting myself into by reading the comments. Fl-sun line if printers are extremely amazing to watch in action! In comparison no Cartesian style printer can compare to a Delta style of printing. As you can see in the video of the print quality has been extraordinarily amazing better than most printers. In comparison I have an industrial CreatBot F430 a 5000.00$ printer! The prints off this Q5 are out of this world good!! However there are caveats in comparing with my industrial printer is capable of handling industrial-strength filaments. Used for reaching temperature as hot as 450 degrees C or 840 F. For absolute strength I use PC or nylon filaments this printer isn't the best for that use.. you're be better off with a different hotend. If you use pla or petg workouts fine abs and PC not so much... hot bed only get up to 100 kinda sucks but stick really well on pla or petg! after hours of trial and error i finally got the printer up and "running" to figure out that the screen doesnt work. will be trying the newer pre assembled model. I feel bad for writing a review without actually trying the product but as far as printers go this is the 7th brand ive used and the installation was by far the trickiest. I frequently take apart other printers and can get them stripped of all bolts and re assemble and this one was tricky even out of the box. ... show more
