Note: Places where you need bonding to hold the seal in place' use Automotive Exhaust RTV Sealant 450*+ which I used to seal exhaust collection chamber in my furnace. Its working and holding well. I have not smelled any odor of exhaust in or around the furnace or in the room. since it was restarted 3 weeks ago. The media could not be loaded. We have an oddly shaped oven cabinet, so when our vintage oven died we had to seek out an older oven. We found a vintage oven after a year of searching but the only thing wrong was it lacked a gasket on the door to keep the heat in. Since the gasket was unavailable by over half a century, I decided to try this tape. Not only was it easy to install and trim to size, it also works wonderfully! I’m so happy the oven now heats in 10 minutes instead of 45 minutes, also the outside of my oven stays cool now that is to this product. ... show more

    • Adhesive failed after a month of use.

I figured since it was 3m adhesive it would hold up but it didn’t. It worked great for that first month. Now it’s just a pain in the butt.
