Purchased on Oct 31, 2020 and it is now Nov 30, 2020 and it has stopped working. Worked reasonably well while until it died. Was a little loud and noticed it getting much louder over the last month. Must have been a sign that it was on it's last leg. I won't reorder although I think the value for the money was OK. I am going to look for something higher quality. My wife had wanted a fan in our wood burner for a couple of years. I just kinda ignored her. I came across this one and thought I’d give it a try. Price was right also. This thing REALLY works a lot better than I expected. It’s also very quiet, no sound at all. Yes I’d highly recommend this fan.

Due to frequent power outages I was really hopeful that this fan would help to distribute heat from our stove. We placed this on top of our stove and within 5 min the blades were at a solid fast spin. As others have shown - the air was not being pushed. I placed a piece of paper in front of the blades and the paper did not move. I thought maybe the blades were pushing air out of the other side…. Nope. Totally ineffective and being returned. It works, it moves some hot air off of my wood burning stove. I just wish it moved more air. It's also inexpensive so maybe it's worth the cost, it's definitely better than not having one. But if it moved 50% more air it would be a 5star review.
