  • 1st day review and 2nd week review and 1 year review
Delivery was well managed. Was not to hard to assemble. For the price it looks and runs good. Grinded 6 or 7 stumps with it and was impressed. I have plenty more to grind and will write another review after more hours are put on it. A person needs to be strong to use this machine. So far its a beast. Thank you amazon Second week review. I have used this to grind about 30 stumps. Most under 12 in in diamater some a litter bigger. It does a good job qnd really diggen it. I have had a tooth to come off 2 times now the same tooth. The bolts holding them on wheel breaks. I purchased extra bolts this time in case it happen again. Other than that i really like what it does especailly the removal.of stumps. I will follow up with another review the more i use. Hope this helps someone thanks. GOD BLESS After I year I’ve used for about the fourth time and ground about 12 stumps yesterday Everything held up worked as should I would grind medium size stump and let rest a minute and move to the next one Got job done and made 350 bucks No big stumps medium and small size and didn’t push machine and let rest in between stumps You need to be strong to use this machine Hope this helps God bless ... show more

  • Didn't work well, then wouldn't start
Arrived in a crate on s pallet. Simple to unbox. There were some scuffs/rubs from transport, but this was minor and just cosmetic. Assembly was easy enough. But none of the wrenches provided actually fit some of the nuts and bolts. So I needed to use my own tools (which were easier to use anyway). Filled the oil and checked belts. Started right up. But it sputtered a little at full throttle. Didn't seem to run smoothely at full throttle, so ran around 80%. The machine did not run well under load. It would bog down and stall. Didn't know whether this was typical, so I tried to work with it. It was functional but very slow the first hour. If it started to stall, I had to pause and wait for it to recover. It also wanted to stall the more I tipped it forward (digging/grinding down). I tried working with it for another two hours, but it ran worse and worse. I cleaned the air filter, but this made marginal difference. It bogged down more, wanted to stall more, and became harder to start. It finally would not start at all. I was mainly grinding small (under 10") stumps and old stumps that had sll been sawed off at ground level. My soil is not very rocky at all. I didn't think this shiuld be too hard to do. But the equipment was not up to the task. I did not attempt the larger stumps or grinding deeper because it was futile. I paid for an extended warranty, but don't know whether that covered anything. Amazon agreed to return and refund (or would have replaced it). I didn't want another one just like this. ... show more

  • Beast
From ordering to using this equipment I have had a pretty good experience. My delivery was on time, and the guys put in my garage, also I got the equipment in about 3 days. The packaging was good, no damage to the equipment. To my surprise I felt the picture of this equipment doesn't do it justice! It was more heavy duty than I anticipated, I thought it looked pretty bad ass. They sent all hardware and and all the tools for assembly ( pretty decent tools) all paperwork was present, assembly was easy. I felt I got more than I anticipated. I filled with oil and gas took out to the job site and it made lite work of those stumps. No bucking or anything, I was impressed. Maneuverability is the one issue with this equipment, it's a struggle if there is any type of grade to area being worked. I felt like equipment was of better quality than I expected, so all the good outway any of the bad. ... show more

  • Do not waste your money!!! Death trap waiting to happen
First of all I see why there are absolutely no refunds. This thing was never meant to run. The engine had fragments of metal all throughout it. We found out after it wouldn't start and had to have a mechanic look it over and we found metal in the brand new oil we just put in so it was already in there. The welds aren't even done properly if a tooth broke it would go through it in a heartbeat and injure someone. Everything was rusted inside and the throttle was wide open it wouldnt even close in choke mode. This stump grinder isn't worth the material it was put together with let alone almost 2k. ... show more

  • Losing teeth
This is a good product, but every time I use it at least one tooth snaps off. They shoot off and can be hard to find. I am looking for one now which hit my leg very hard and disappeared.

  • Excellent machine for the price
The media could not be loaded. Arrived quickly and well packaged. Mostly assembled. The few items left to assemble where easy just following the pictures. I used synthetic 5W-30, fresh gas, and the machine started on the second pull. Already ground 5 large stumps and was impressed how quickly it chipped them down. About 5 minutes on a 24" trunk. You'll spend more time removing the pile of chips and sawdust. Engine has plenty of power, no stalling at all. Restarts with choke or higher throttle. Definitely not a Honda engine, but just what I expected for the price. ... show more

  • SO FAR, SO GOOD....
DELIVERED AS/WHEN PROMISED, CRATE A BIT BUSTED UP BUT NO DAMAGE TO THE PRODUCT. SIMPLE ASSEMBLY, STARTED AND RAN RIGHT AWAY. VERY POWERFUL MACHINE! IF YOU'VE NEVER USED ONE, BE ADVISED IT'S A BEAR TO OPERATE; BUT IT'S TOUGH AND GETS THE JOB DONE (SO FAR)....

  • Bad about losing teeth
Bought this stump grinder because I had a lot of tree stumps that need grinding. This machine has thrown teeth off of it since the first stump I started. I have probably spent $50.00 on bolts to put the tooth back on. Motor is a little hard to start even after it is warmed up, and now the pull start has started not grabbing on the engagement cup on the flywheel. Also check all bolts every time you use it. Especially the ones that hold the pulley on the grinder wheel, as well as make sure you check to make sure the motor is square and tight on the pulleys. I have owned this stump grinder since January of 2023. Have approximately 5 hours on it, and now the motor has blown. Threw a rod through the block. ... show more
