  • Budget Mic with Pro Sound! Win
Color: Black
I recently added the FEELWORLD PM1 microphone to my videography toolkit, and it's been a game-changer for voice-overs and podcasts. The audio quality impresses with a rich, bass-forward sound that brings professionalism to my work. The RGB lights not only look cool on my desk but also serve as handy visual cues for the mic's settings. It's durable, functional, and the built-in mute button and headphone jack are thoughtful touches for any creator's needs. Overall, the PM1 is a reliable, high-quality microphone that earns a solid 5 stars from me. All that for the price is incredible! ... show more

  • Its an exceptional microphone!
Color: Black
The media could not be loaded. There are many beneficial features that this microphone has but there was one in particular that pleasantly surprised me. The build quality! The all metal body of this microphone feels more rugged than what the price suggests. Not to mention that it comes with all of the typical features that most USB/XLR mics have nowadays. It includes a touch capacitive mute button that also serves as a mode button between the gain and headphone volume for the knob. It has good clarity for spoken voice recording and it rejects plosives really well. It definitely sets itself apart from others in build quality. ... show more

  • Studio Sound, Simplified?
Color: Black
This dynamic microphone arrived in a full-color box. It and the accessories were packed into form-fitting foam compartments. The contents included the microphone, u-shaped bracket (attached to microphone), windscreen (attached to microphone), stand base, base stem, XLR cable, USB-C to USB-C/A split cable, and instructions. I'm surprised. I wasn't expecting what arrived. This mic exceeded my expectations. The microphone appears well-constructed and all metal. It features a volume control knob, multifunction button and multifunction RGB strip. The bottom of the mic features XLR, USB-C and 3.5mm headphone connections, as well as both a single channel featuring both 5/8 and 3/8 threading (for connecting to the included stand stem or a boom arm). Note: The RGB light, multifunction key, volume control, and real-time monitoring (headphones) are not available in XLR mode. I was able to use both the USB and XLR connections (via an audio interface, which functioned normally) at the same time - However, I don't know if doing so will cause any issues. The multifunction key may be tapped to mute the audio. Doing so will cause the RGB light to turn red. If the key is held for 2-3 seconds, the volume control will be switched between the microphone and headphones. A green light will appear at the front of the RGB strip when in "microphone mode". A blue light will appear at the front of the RGB strip when in "microphone mode". A long press (about 7 seconds) will turn the RGB light off when not in use (meaning, if changing the volume or mode, the light will come on briefly). Another long press will turn the RGB lighting on again. If the RGB light is on, when not in use, it will begin to shift through colors. The 96kHz/24bit microphone is dynamic and has a cardioid polar pattern. The frequency response is 50Hz-14kHz and the sound-to-noise ratio is 95dB. I recorded vocals with this microphone in two DAW applications, FL Studio and Reaper, via an audio interface. The audio came out fine. It sounded nice. It appears to have a lower noise floor, seemed good at rejection and faired well with plosives (with the windscreen). The proximity effect was fine. At the current price point, this microphone appears to be a solid option. Strange aside: The official YouTube introductory video for this microphone is a montage of people using it - and the only audio is an odd background music track. Huh? Of special note is that some of the people in the video are mishandling the microphone. Disclaimer: I'm not a sound engineer, nor do I have a great deal of experience with microphones or production at this time. All in all, I'm happy with this mic. Should my experience with it change in the future, I'll update the review. Cons/Suggestions: * It'd be nice if the multifunction key was a mechanical button or provided tactical/haptic feedback. The pressure needed to activate it doesn't seem to be consistent. * It'd be nice if the RGB cycling through colors function would be turned off. While pretty, I'd rather it be pragmatic. When it begins to cycle through colors, you no longer know what mode it's in (mic or headphones) and it's difficult to discern the volume level. * While the solid RGB light is attractive, it'd be nice if the RGB light were segmented to better illustrate the volume level, as well as the mode area being segmented. * The u-shaped bracket sometimes scrapes against the sides of the microphone. ... show more

  • An Amazing Microphone!
Color: Black
The microphone is amazing , I highly recommend it and I think everyone who is looking should definitely get ! The fact it’s just plug and play is really nice. It has a couple things I would change but still a great buy !

  • Great for the price
Color: Black
Overall great sounding microphone for the price. It's built of a tough aluminum body and is pretty rugged. It has a plastic gain control knob, and led light that cycles through all of the colors of the rainbow, but the gain and light only work if the USB cable is plugged in (Which is standard for USB/XLR combo mics.) The mic can put out audio through both USB and XLR simultaneously, or individually. Also has a 3.5mm output jack for monitoring audio output in real time. ... show more

  • Needs improvements
Color: Black
You need a pop filter and the button is not reactive. I returned it. I liked it though but looking for a mic I can use with a pop filter. I liked the look and the LED light.
