I purchased this for my son's 2004 Chevy Silverado. He recently put window tint on his windows and made it difficult to see at night with his reverse lights on the tail lights. These lights are very bright and adjustable so you can point more towards the ground or straight out for distance with the adjustment on the bracket. You can also turn the lights to the right or left as you prefer. Installation - as others have mentioned, the bracket didn't fit around the hitch...on the outside. That is due to the chain loops. Our truck has a factory hitch and and the end of that is under the truck had just enough room to install these lights. I actually like how the lights now sit under the bumper. The chain loops very slightly block the lights, but they are so bright it is plenty of visibility. Also, as others have mentioned, the wires to the lights are short, but I used some short scrap pieces of wire to have enough to get to the trailer plug to tap into the reverse light wire. I just grounded the black wire to a piece of metal and it all worked perfectly. I would also note that there was no installation instructions included with this light, but there are some YouTube videos that help. I have purchased other Nilight products and they have all been good quality. I would recommend, but know that if the bracket doesn't fit around your hitch, you may have to get creative. ... show more

First, this will NOT fit a 2019 RAM Warlock because of the trailer chain hookups. However, I was able to make a 1/8" spacer that fits around the ball mount square tubing and mount the lights there. Doing it this way requires mounting the lights on top of the bracket, which is fine for me. I think it looks good. I wired them into the 7-pin trailer hookup. There is a YouTube video that explains how to do this, and it's super easy. Great Product for the price! ... show more

These lights arrived in a very timely fashion... they were well packed and showed no damage to the box. The instructions were easy to follow and installed in about 30 mins. Since I had previously wired in a different set of lights, (LED strip light units, that mount where your license plate attaches to the car... I had installed two of them. One above and one below the tag for the purpose of safe, night time backing up). Btw, if you're considering these units, don't waste your time/$$! They claimed to be waterproof, etc, etc... (spoiler alert- they're NOT!!!) They lasted about a year... A couple of weeks ago, I backed up in front of a glass storefront where I could see the reflection in my rearview mirror. Of the 24 "super bright XENON LED lights", one set was approx 50% lit, and the other? About 25% lit after just 1 year! (and I'm not sure how long I rode around like that!) On this unit, however, they are easily 2-3 times the brightness/range of those strip lights!! Since I just installed them, my review is somewhat incomplete... I gave them the highest 5 star rating in everything, except durability.... (only 3 stars so far, as time will tell, (with the durability of them). But I have a much better sense of quality with these than I did the orig ones, which I scrapped). Whew! that was a mouth-full! I chose to not buy the extra wiring kit with a dash mounted switch, (which I guess would be handy if you wanted them for say, camping purposes, setting up your site in the dark). I had some appropriate wire on hand, which I used to wire them directly into the backup light circuit of the vehicle. ANYWAY!! So far I am THRILLED in all aspects of this product, save for the durability...( which, I hope I'll remember to update the reliability factor in say, 6 mos. or so). Good luck with yours!! This works perfectly for my needs. I wanted some bright lights so when I’m backing up in the dark while plowing I can see better behind me. This set up works perfectly. I saw other reviews complaining that it doesn’t work on the their hitch to that I say it’s a got to be an installer error. I know hitches better than most after installing literally hundreds of hitches and wiring. This would not fit a class 4 or 5 hitch or work with a class 2 hitch but it works fine with a class 3 hitch. You do have to make sure you put it on with the indented side facing the back of the hitch opening so it slides up close to that area and fits snugly in place and you do have to take off both sides while mounting it. Loosening one side and trying to get it to fit won’t work. Both sides have to be removed. Then it will go into place just fine providing you have it facing the right way. I decided not to use the wiring included and just took a simple 4 flat extension plug and cut the end off it. I then butt connected the power and ground from both lights to power and ground wires on the extension wire plug then taped off the right and left turn signals and then all the wires together with more electrical tape to keep it well sealed. I plugged it into my 4 flat on my truck and then turned on my headlights and boom. Working perfectly to give me the visibility I want when backing up in snowstorms. This is the fastest simplest way to do it and accomplished what I need. I even pre-mounted my lights to the hitch mount before putting it on the truck. This would not work for everyone based on how much space you do, or don’t have. For me there was plenty of room and I left the lights just loose enough to turn them sideways so I could tighten up the hitch mount once I got it in place. ... show more

Giving 4 stars because it doesn't fit the hitch on a 2023 Tacoma, otherwise it's very well made and the lights are super bright. I'll have to figure something out to shim it or something.
