While the sound quality is good, it does have some difficulty picking up your voice from about a foot away, which can depend on the mixer you're using. Despite this, it’s a great option if you’re on a tight budget and need a versatile microphone. I use it for gaming and have even received compliments on the sound quality, although I also use an MV7 regularly. The build quality is impressive, especially considering the price. It’s worth noting that while it looks similar to a SHURE microphone, the audio quality differs significantly. However, this distinction might not be noticeable to most users, unless you have audiophiles in your gaming group. Overall, it's a perfect mic for the price. The physical buttons on the mic make sense, they're really all that's necessary, as it's easy to adjust volume during calls from your own end without the need of going into software/settings of the app being used, and a perfectly understandable mute indicator. Is it an MV7, definitely not. This mic works, has good room rejection, and the build quality is okay. My biggest issue, the sound, low end of this mic is super muddy and way too over bearing.
