This jewelry wire is very flexible and easy to use. It takes and holds the shape very well and the flexibility allows you to maneuver it easily to fit your needs. This is great for jewelry making and for some craft projects. I found this easier to use then the copper wire and it when making a curved shape, the curve stays smooth. My stepson was looking to do some craft stuff and needed some jewelry wire for a couple ideas. I picked this up for him. The wire is a lot more flexible than I had thought it would be, but it worked out great. The size is perfect for mounting stones for a necklace or something similar. I wouldn't see this being used for anything that didn't have another object to wrap it around. So no bracelets or rings woven from it, but for fixing something to make a necklace or even for ear rings, this would be great. He was using it to create something for a bracelet he was working on. It wasn't exactly what he needed, as he was looking to make something more structural than this would allow. However he did find some other uses for it in the same project and it turned out great. If you need something flexible with a bright, silver tone for making necklaces, this is a great option. ... show more

I got this to make bracelets and stuff like that. This is so much lighter than the copper wire that I also use for these items. It is very very flexible and and I can make all kinds of twists and turns with them. If you are trying to make something rigid, I do not think that this would work well but if you want a light, flexible wire, this is perfect! It works out great for my items! This is a great gauge for making bracelets or necklaces and for beading. It is easily crimped or cut with tools, but doesn't easily lose it's shape or break. This should give me enough to complete some of my beading projects that I have had sitting in my stash waiting for a good wire.

The product needs to say the gauge and the length right on the reel itself for ease of use. It has a nice shine to it. It would be ideal for people who are learning the art of jewelry making. I compared the product to 2 silver wires. The wire nicks easily and is hard to totally straighten out. I would not use it to hold anything that is going to hang or have any weight.
