It is not an overstatement to say this device simply works !!! After going through multiple steroid injections, CESI and months of physical therapy, nothing helped to alleviate my shoulder and neck pain. In just 2 sessions of 20 minutes, I have felt significant improvement and reduction of pain and have higher degree of movement and rotation in the affected area of my body. The device is well built, packaged in professionally protective storage box, and is simple to use. It comes with preset recommended values for different parts of the body and the touchscreen menu is simple and intuitive even a child can apply the therapy. Get the PSP20 as it is the pro-sumer version and the price is within reach of most home users. I finally have a better quality of life after almost 2 years of pain. The only thing I suggest for improvement is to include an integrated bottle with the drain tubing to catch excess water produced by the internal compressor. As a makeshift, I drill a small hole in a water bottle cap and insert the drain tubing to catch any water (as seen my the picture). So far no drainage water has been produced after 2 sessions. Overall, very satisfied and is looking for the next few sessions (one session every 3 days is recommended). Time will tell about the longevity and durability of this device. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I’m a healthcare provider currently using this to cater to athletes for MSK injuries and provide improved ROM and pain relief. This is a great treatment option that is not invasive with proven results. It has Frequency range of 1-21 (most treatments can be done at 5-8 depending on which areas) and with Level up to 8 (most treatments can be done at 5-8, or less depending on pt tolerance). Frequency is amount of palpation per minute and Level is the strength (how “hard” the thumps) of treatment. It is plug and play. Press the “play” button on the screen first, then, press the button on the blue “gun.” Super easy. The machine itself is with a hum to allow air to circulate in the machine. The blue “gun” does have a ticking sound, and patients can always use a disposable ear plugs if the ticking sound bothers them (most do not mind). The machine itself comes with a very nice big black box with handles at opposite sides. The blue “gun” comes with a silver case with extra equipment for maintenance. The machine itself does have a solid holder for the gun as well. The video shows simple operations, max and min of frequency and level, and how to push start the blue “gun.” It also have the sound of the ticking of the “gun” and humming of the machine. The back is where the on and off master switch also, demo at the end of the video. For additional help with machine hardware and cleaning/maintenance, PerVita is your go to. They are super responsive and provide timely help with emailing them directly. Super helpful. I’m very impressed with this R-ESWT machine and with the company. The build quality is excellent, the screen UI is intuitive and gives good recommendations, and the power generated is substantial. It’s easily competitive with devices that cost over 10x as much (IE Storz devices). The shockwave heads are heavy duty and well made. You really notice this when you screw them on the handle, the machining on the threads is super smooth and precise, which makes them easy to switch out. Operating the machine is easy and there are a lot of resources online you can use for different treatment areas. Just make sure you get some ultrasound gel to go with it and don’t “dry fire” it too much. It generates real power and that energy needs to go somewhere or you will wear out the head or handle prematurely. The large latch-style shipping crate it came in is well made and well-padded. I would be comfortable packing this all up and shipping it cross country without any concerns. As far as service, I sent a message to the company to ask a question and they responded instantly with a knowledgeable reply. This level of service is all but gone from the world, so it makes me extremely happy whenever I see it. Lastly, I can completely recommend the optional trolley cart. It’s also very well made and heavy duty. This whole setup could easily pass for a $50,000 machine in a Doctor’s office and looks fantastic. An ongoing issue that was unresponsive to all traditional treatments, led me to explore shockwave therapy. I wasn’t sure a home-use machine could deliver results, but the reviews convinced me to take a chance—and I’m so glad I did. The first treatment was easy to use and provided immediate relief. We use this device in a physical therapy setting and it has been great. It's helped our patients tremendously and has bee a great asset to our clinic. We did have a problem with the handle after about 60 days and when we reached out for assistance, they were quick to respond and provide us with a resolution.
