This is my 3rd chair in a one year time frame. From $50 to $120 and now over $250. My experience taught me, go for the best one from the beginning. Look at this one, even the details like the little caps are great. And the cushion is thick and comfortable. This chair is easy to assemble but may need an extra person to help hold parts while screwing. It comes with everything you need and a instruction manual that is easy to follow. The chair is mostly made of hard sturdy plastic, and synthetic leather. The castor wheels are quite good and had no issues with rolling it on hardwood floors. The padding is very thick and on the more stiff side. It doesn't sink and isn't mushy. I find it quite comfortable for sitting on. The backing can be debatable and some might like to sink into the chair with their back. But overall I think it works well. I think the lower back support is very nice here and the upper back/shoulders is decent. But it lacks any neck support for me. The adjustments are limited, you can slide the arms up or down and the standard lean back or lock it in place. ... show more

It's a nice chair, but not $200 nice. The material feels cheap to touch. On the other hand, it is really comfortable! BUT.... it's already squeaking! I just got the chair, why is it squeaking? Not a fan of that.

I am the first to tell you that I’m good at putting things together and then figuring out I did something backwards and have to take it apart and do it the correct way. I did not have that experience with this chair. It was easy to put together, the directions were pretty clear and I didn’t have to backtrack and redo anything so I call that a win. The chair is super nice and so comfortable. There’s a few loose strings on the arm rests but I think I can cut them without making any unravel. The arms are easy to raise if they are in the way, the seat easily goes up and down. I really like the padded arms (and the seat isn’t too shabby either!).
