The good news first. The chair was easy to assemble and very comfortable. Now the bad news. It's not nearly as sturdy as expected. The seat broke where the arm/back attach. If you lean back you are going to hit the floor even with the back locked in place. I had the chair for roughly 2 months to the day and was happy with it until I leaned back, put my feet on the desk with the back locked in place and I heard a cracking sound as the back kept going back. It broke where the bolts attach to the side of the seat. I'm 6'4" and around 270lb and I managed to get 2 months out of a so called executive heavy duty chair with a 450lb rating. My return window was 1 month from time of purchase. I do not recommend ... show more

The chair is pretty decent for $150. The bottom seat is pretty comfortable, but it's rather firmer than I expected (though that will probably change after sitting in it for hundreds of hours. I am 6'1, 175lb, my shoulders reaches about 5 inches from the top of the chair, with my head not touching the chair at all. I wish it was taller. People that said it was too tall have clearly been lying to themselves on how tall they are. For an average heighted person, this would be a great height and width (width between the two arm rests). The chair comes with a little inflatable doohickey that when you squeeze it, it inflates the lower middle of the chair. It doesn't inflate the very bottom nor the middle, but the lower middle. One the picture it's placed in that small pouch at the bottom. The chair is nicely heavy. It tilts the whole chair (including the seat), not just the back, backwards. You can't lock the chair in place while in tilt, but you can lock it in the normal 90degree angle so it doesn't tilt. What I do enjoy are the rests and that I didn't get scammed. It's a pretty good chair, and if you're looking at reliability, then I'd buy this, comfortable chair for a similar or lower price, then I'd recommend that. However, if I were to guess, this chair should in reality cost $100 today and maybe $50 in a normal society. ... show more

I kind of wish this was taller in the back so I could rest my head otherwise it's fine as it is. I did not assemble the included wheelbase, bracket, or lift cylinder, mainly out of laziness but also because I used an aftermarket bracket that has thicker steel. It assembled pretty well.

only lasted a month and then started lowering by itself and you can't sit straight up it just falls backwards also the arm cushions lasted a day of use then turn into flat pos, so i had to order cushions and also had to buy a chair cushion as it did the same it was a complete waste of money ive tried to withstand it as long as possible but looking for a new chair ... show more
